Holiday Inn VICKSBURG by IHG

Worst holiday inn we have stayed in. The room was showing its age with missing baseboards and cracked tiles. The carpet was damp and musty and I’m not even sure it has been vacuumed in some time. The bed was surprising nice with very clean linens. Everything else was just very disgusting. Won’t be staying here ever again.

The staff were mostly helpful and professional, and the breakfast was pretty good for a hotel, but the internet would not connect to my laptop despite never having a problem before, and my room literally had zero blackout curtains. Then with the fire alarm (twice!) for seemingly no reason, I left frustrated and super exhausted. No refreshed feeling. The bed was also a bit hard. And the "Cilantro Bar & Grill" was totally non-existent except for a sparsely decored patio. Just not a good experience but not terrible.

The inside of the facility was well maintained. But there were several cats hanging around the front entrance. When going in or out, the cats would try to enter the building, I'm not into animals. This wasn't a good look for me.

We checked in very later but room was booked in advance. We got the last room and carpet was wet and dirty/smelly. However , staff was helpful. Don’t recommend!

Very happy customer from the welcome (check in process), the stay and the check out process. Everything was clean, comfortable and spacious. Enjoyed dinner at a local restaurant (walking distance). The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did wish this Holiday Inn served complimentary breakfast however the price of $4.99 per person was not bad. (I heard that kids 12 and under are free with each respective paying adult). Again, very happy customer!

We booked this place as a halfway point on our road trip. The online reviews and pictures are VERY deceiving. This was the grossest hotel I’ve ever been to. Trash left behind in the rooms, dirty floors in the hallways, trash in the elevators, CIGARETTE BURNS in our sheets. We got woken up by the smell of **** at 2 am. Items left behind in the room from other guests… i.e. an elf bar, trash, and some hair gel. Would not recommend if this was the last place to stay on planet earth.

The bed was damp like. the cart that's used to carry luggage was in some one room.

This hotel is showing its age. Needs updates. Breakfast was the same each morning we were in Vicksburg for 4 days.

This place is terrible. The room was dirty. It smelled like musty, mildew, and mold. There was mold or mildew on the closet door. The lock on the front door was loose. Screws are falling out. The floors were dirty like they’ve never been vacuumed. The lamps were broken, rusted, and falling apart. Everything about this place was disgusting. Do not go here. We unfortunately had to stay. It was late at night. I have a toddler and there were no other options. We slept on top of the covers and left early in the morning. Save your money. Do not stay at this place. It is terrible.
