We stayed for just two nights but it was excellent. Having stayed at other Mercures, everything was as expected. What wasn’t expected was the service provided by Thomas Croissant. It was absolutely stellar. He made us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. All in all, a fabulous stay in a fabulous town. Ask for Mr. Croissant when you get there. Btw, he speaks English, Spanish, Italian and of course French. We had fun speaking all four languages with him.

Checkin was rather casual but other than that the hotel was nice and the service good. Breakfast was also good and happily there was a toaster. The croissants could have been better, though. As the hotel is at the outskirts of town, the existence of a local bus service was much appreciated, although it stopped at about 7pm.

Excellent on site restaurant Edgars Brasserie. Hotel Breakfast was good. During Covid crisis you had to ask for your room to be made up rather than it being done every day automatically. This was not pointed out at check in. Parking good, not too far from town.

Too far from the city center This hotel is mainly for business trip No particular charms for a 4 stars hotel I think they could have done better in terms of facilities and ameneties - no water in the bedrooms, the fridge didn’t work and the safe was out of work The staff is very nice and professional

Whenever we need a hotel in France we either stay here or at the Roof, depending on which hotel is offering the best deal on **********.
Never disappointed.
Used to use my Accor hotels loyalty membership but now always book through **********.

Hotel sul porto canale ma un po’ fuori dal centro . In tipico stile Mercure, comunque dotato di tutti i confort , anche il parcheggio privato. Camera ordinaria ma ampia e silenziosa, colazione discreta classica francese. C’è anche un ristorante ma non lo abbiamo provato

- Albergo un pò lontano dal tipico centro medievale bretone, Vannes è sicuramente meritevole di una visita, che si raggiunge dopo una buona camminata lungo il porto-canale. - Camera ampia, pulita, abbastanza silenziosa, a parte gli schiamazzi di maleducati durante la notte di sabato, filtrati dalla strada, nonostante gli infissi 'insonorizzati'. - Parcheggio ampio, gratuito. - Personale gentilissimo: menzione alla signorina del ricevimento, peccato che non sia in grado di citare il suo nome, che mi ha ragguagliato sulla toponomastica e che è velocemente intervenuta per far risolvere l'inconveniente della cassaforte (sportello chiuso, quindi inutilizzabile). - Cibo: colazione buona, con ampia scelta. - Brasserie Edgar: peccato che abbiamo potuto cenare solo la sera dell'arrivo (Sabato e Domenica riposo): cena molto buona e, caso gradito e fortunato, siamo stati serviti dall'ottimo Mr Eric, veloce, professionale, cordiale, che già avevamo avuto il piacere di apprezzare in un altro albergo **** di Carnac. - Giudizio complessivo: molto positivo.

Chambres spacieuses et confortables. Environnement peu agréable et bruyant très tard : ****** en face et parking. Petit déjeuner sans surprise sans explications. Literie confortable. Présence d'une bouilloire dans la chambre avec des dosettes.

Les 4 étoiles ne sont pas méritées à mon sens... les murs de la chambre étaient poussiéreux +++, le personnel du petit déjeuner limite aimable (à peine bonjour, pas d'explication concernant le déroulé du ptt dej...). L'établissement est situé dans un quartier pas vraiment agréable et relativement loin du centre.
