This is a charming, modern hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. The location really couldn't be better - right next to the Central Market and walking distance to everything you will want to visit in Valencia. (If you have time, head over to the market for lunch and check out Central Bar by Ricard Camarena!) There are many different room types to choose from. We had one facing the plaza on the street side. The view was fantastic and the street noise wasn't too bad. Our room had a kitchen, which we didn't use, but it would have been nice had we stayed longer. The room was spacious. Wifi worked OK (not the fastest). Modern bathroom with hot water and good water pressure. All the furnishings were in good condition, good quality, and clean. We had wonderful massages at the spa. Don't miss the breakfast - it is really excellent! Three courses with multiple options to choose from for each, plus your choice of drinks. So delicious! We did experience what some other reviews have described with the air conditioning turning off in the middle of the night - they told us they were not allowed to let guests adjust it below 21C per Spanish law, but they manually turned it down to 19C for us (adjusting it from the front desk). They promised to keep it running overnight, but it seemed to get down to 19 and then turn off completely until we would overheat and call again. 21C would have been fine with us had the fan been running, but it wasn't running at all in between and the room got so stuffy. Not a huge deal for two nights, but it would have gotten really annoying had we stayed longer.

AC Hotel Valencia is near the City of Arts and Sciences and thus a good location if you are into the Hemisferic, etc. What made me provide 5 stars is their frontdesk team. From the check in, to my stay, to my check out, and even when I accidentally left some personal items, they still accommodated my request and lent a helping hand.

The location is superb. You can definitely see the sunrise on the sea in the morning. There is no obstruction. The sandy beaches outside are also very beautiful and well maintained. But the hotel facilities are a bit old, the bathroom rooms are relatively small, but there seems to be no better option. This is already the most expensive hotel in the entire area. Things are delicious. After all, Valencia, the birthplace of paella, is better overall than Barcelona.

The furniture in the hotel room, the bathroom is really old. Always feel that the service staff is not professional enough, as a 5 star hotel should be well trained. Unsuitable guests come to swim, sometimes because the number of people is full, even in-house guests can not use the swimming pool. I feel that the hotel is not very suitable for this arrangement. There is also a little bit of update in the hotel, such as changing carpets, brushing the wall near the hotel elevator, if construction, some rooms should be closed and not booked, but the hotel does not seem to have a plan at all, the whole corridor is gray, arrange the guests to take the freight ladder. In short, I feel that this hotel is like a five-star appearance, and the service management is really not very good.
