Excellent location if you have a car. We booked 3 tours with Mark B and they were all excellent. Saw sights and heard about historical places in France that we would have missed otherwise. His extensive knowledge of history, politics, and hidden spots in the region cannot be understated, along with his storytelling and manners. Each day was even better than the last. The rooms were well-stocked and the staff were helpful. The river, green spaces, and outdoor pool were all beautiful. All in all a great place to stay when sightseeing across west France and Normandy area.

A truly excellent hotel and location, set in the heart of the Normandy countryside. We had a great one bedroom apartment which was spotless and so comfortable. A special mention to Marc B who also conducts tours . His knowledge of French history is outstanding and he brought to life the D Day beach landings . He is also a real gentleman with a great sense of humour . We wholly recommend him if you want a really memorable experience. Thanks to all . Rob and Jan

Very nice resort, just on the river Seine! Beautiful surroundings and setting! Very friendly and helpful staff! The apartments are clean and very well equipped! The only thing is that they are a bit old but that's not a problem! The bedroom was very pretty also!

I would have given it 3.5 stars but that's not an option... The staff was simply AMAZING, honestly they get 10 out of 5 stars. The location is indeed way out in the middle of nowhere but honestly that makes it even that much more gorgeous. The reason for my lower rating is based on the standards that we're used to with our Wyndham time share. Our until in particular did not hold up to the standards we are used to AT ALL. My son had a huge stain on his bed spread, there was blood on qthe toilet seat and there were holes in all the screens not allowing us to keep windows open. Now I understand that spiders tend to get anywhere so it's unfortunate that it happened, but there was a HUGE spider that managed to get into my clothes, the furniture was very worn and old, our washing machine was insanely loud (nobody's fault just unfortunate for the time of our stay.) the toilet itself was loose and again just the overall quality was very disappointing compared to what we are used to. Ultimately I'm happy we got to experience France a little bit and I'm grateful the resort was gated and the staff was GREAT I just think the rooms need a face-lift!

While it is way out there and hard to find in the dark, it’s beautiful. A hidden gem. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast 12€ with croissants, yogurt, jam, 2 kinds of juice, Nutella and tea or coffee was perfect. The reading area with books and games and the tiny bar were delightful. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, kids play area, a bridge and a restaurant in an exquisite old chateau, separate from the hote l, all addd to the atmosphere. I could stay for a week! There is even a help yourself garden with strawberry plants and more. Again, the staff were lovely and our room? Was a one bedroom suite with a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge area, dining g area, powder room and full bath and bedroom upstairs. We loved it!

We just finish our trip to this beautiful Country side inn. You will need a car and 1.5 hours from the airport. No traffic, easy driving, Nice French design houses with character, inexpensive food, relaxing take your time holiday. No pick pocket to worry about. Beautiful drive, friendly Inn staff, friendly French people. Fresh air, swimming pool. Apple wine and apple whisky and lot of delicious cheese. Does not cost much. 1 week is enough and driving all over French landmark, except Paris. Avoid the traffic and the tourist traps. Easy drive all over just like in North America.

This place is in the middle of nowhere. Not accessible to public transportation. Taxi charged for 200 euro to get Paris, 400 euro to Mt.de Saint Michael. Rip-off - we have to spend a lot of money to just get around the area. Rent-a-car is not an option for me. Unit has no elevator, you will have to carry your heavy luggage up and down the stairs, room is small and unkept. furniture are old, mattress spring are poking. I strongly do not recommend this place.

Hôtel en bord d’un bras mort de la Seine Notre appartement était spacieux mais le ménage doit être très amélioré !!! Sol qui était sale (nombreuses traces), toiles d’araignée lors de l’arrivée Je dois noter aussi la vétusté de certain équipement comme la robinetterie de la douche ( doit dater des années 60 !) Ce qui fait, qu’il est très difficile de trouver la bonne température de l’eau pour se doucher D’où une consommation très excessive d’eau; ce qui est actuellement inacceptable !!! Et je ne parle pas de l’équipement du balcon (sale avec de nombreuses traces de peinture) Pour nous, première et dernière expérience dans cet établissement. Il y a sans doute plus moderne et beaucoup mieux entretenu dans les environs !!!

J’ai cru être dans une camera cache, nous arrivons à 17h puisque les chambres sont dispo à 16h 2 personnes devants nous donc nous attendons 40mn pour que l’on nous explique à la fin que la personne qui check les resa booking n’a pas fait son taff et que du coup nous n’avons pas de chambre. La direction ne répond pas au téléphone personne ne sait quoi faire limite on se fait engueuler car les employés sont à la limites du pétage de cable. A 19h15 on nous prépare 2 chambres en urgence (alors que 2h avant on me dit qu’on peut rien faire pour moi et que je dois le retourner contre booking )sans linge de toilette bref une vraie catastrophe. Nous ne mettrons plus jamais les pieds dans un endroit comme celui là.
