Grand Hyatt Vail

A very nice and luxurious hotel in picturesque Vail . Hotel has a helpful front desk and excellent concierge service by Ms Barbara if I remember the name correctly. Hotel has very modern architecture. Rooms are spacious and luxurious with a big balcony. Bathrooms are descent. Overall luxury level good. Hotel has a picturesque restaurant . Good food quality. Buffet breakfast was not on offer . Only alacarte. Hotel offers continous complimentary shuttle to various important spots of Vail. You had to ask for all the amenities like slippers , toothbrush etc and there was no luggage assistance to room. This I feel was missing for a 400USD + per night hotel. Overall recommend this hotel.

Lovely stay at Grand Hyatt Vail. We booked this hotel and received an upgraded room with the Fine Hotels and Resorts Program. The staff at this hotel are superb- helpful, well trained, friendly, and go out of their way to make the guests feel welcome. We had a large room with a balcony overlooking Gore Creek. The room was spacious, had a nespresso machine, and large bathroom with a shower and tub. We had the best couples massage that we've ever had at the spa with Stephanie and David. We only ate breakfast at the hotel and it was fine. There is a gym, pool, hot tub, and even free laundry, if needed. There is a free shuttle to Vail Town center every 15 minutes as well. I would recommend this hotel for someone looking for a higher end hotel in Vail.

Beautiful hotel. Breakfast time and food really awful. Could not eat most of it. Staff shortage apologetic for taking 20 minutes to bring menu and coffee. Awful food for breakfast. I would definitely stay there again but eat there.

We had a great stay with our two young kids at GH Vail over Labor Day Weekend. The location is gorgeous and staff attentive. Globalist breakfast every day was a great perk. The pool is beautiful and a perfect way to spend hot summer afternoons while the Gore Creek Trail was a great way to start most of our mornings. There was a little afternoon treat each day in the lobby for the kids like popcorn and s'mores which was a nice touch. The staff really made the effort to make our stay memorable. We'd love to come back!

The room and hotel were very nice. Employees were nice. I did enjoy my stay. Only issues were a crusty urine stain on my room’s toilet seat, I ordered a drink at the bar to bring up to my room and there was a fly in it, and my shower water wouldn’t turn hot or even warm on my second night. They should also have more than one person doing check-ins when they know they have two conferences in town, because it took a while. Overall I just expected more from the Grand Hyatt Vail.

I thought for the money it should’ve been a lot better. Wife was not comfortable in the bed. The electrical outlets were in operable.

Our stay fell far short of expectations. The room lacked proper cleanliness, with stained linens and broken outlets, and the patio was unusable due to bugs. Despite requesting something special for our anniversary in advance, nothing was done. For a luxury hotel, we expected far better attention to detail and service.

Great check-in experience outside of being delayed on my room, but the wait was worth it since I was staying in one of the small suites. Views and creekside location was fantastic. Staff were very nice. My review misses the excellent mark due to a few experiences from a business standpoint since I was there on business.

We have stayed here several times, and enjoyed every time. The hotel is right on Gore Creek, with a long trail for walks. Excellent location - it is not in the town of Vail, but there is a free shuttle that runs constantly. Staff member Kalie was great - she found us great rooms as Hyatt Globalists. Also Miki in the spa was very professional, helpful, and kind. Really excellent breakfast too. Thanks to all at Grand Hyatt Vail, we will be back!
