Neuhaus Golf- & Strandhotel

An excellent hotel in a wonderful location The staff are terrific and treat you like a friend as well as a guest...... could not fault it. Excellent breakfast included Dinner in the restaurant at night excellent not cheap but very fairly priced, service and staff par excellence Top place Lovely outdoor eating area and a grassy outdoor bar with light snacks with views of mountain and lake Ferry landing in hotel grounds with free pass into interlaken and return Loved every moment of 10 day stay Free parking at the door 13 out of 10

Great location, just a bus ride away from the centre of interlarken meaning it was away from the histle and bustle of the town, friendly helpful staff were excellent, great access to the lake for swimming and the balcony was excellent However, wifi was almost none existent in our room and the fridge seemed to not shut properly. Did the job but wouldn’t go back

This hotel located right on the beach of Thun lake and got own pier for sightseeing boat. Bus 21 also come hourly. Parking was free and spacious. Food was delicious. Our room #3 is at the corner and got excellent view. Bed in room 3 was also comfortable. Plugs are different from other part of Switzerland but reception lend us chargers. All the staff are nice and the lady from reception called Suzanne was very helpful.

Chose the hotel based on location and it is really a superb location if you want access to the Thunersee and plan to do things around this area. Access to the lake and water sport is perfect. On the positive side we liked; 1. The location 2. Rooms were exceptionally clean 3. Staff were friendly and helpful 4. Shower was excellent with good water pressure 5. Free parking 6. Free transport into and around Interlaken Room for improvement 1. The beds were so soft I could not sleep. Staying for 4 nights this was an issue 2. We booked a double bed and got two singles pushed together 3. Rooms in the main hotel, away from the restaurant, were a little small. The the wardrobe taking up a huge space. 4. Wifi was terribly slow. I haven’t experienced this in Switzerland in years 5. Breakfast was a little bland and croissants not fresh any of the days Overall I think the hotel was a little pricey for the standard. You are paying for the location really and the rest was a little mediocre. Would I come back. Probably not!
