I planned a vacation and chose UVA Meridian Bay resort Kundapura, based on my sister's recommendation that she stayed at last year. I called the reservation team to book two rooms. Mr. ***n from the reservation team initially confirmed that there were rooms available and blocked, payment can be made on arrival and advised me to call back in two days to choose the room category. However, when I called back after two days, another person from the reservation team informed me that there was no one named Mr. ***n at the property and that there were no rooms available. I then contacted the ***ager, who mentioned that Mr. ***n works late evenings. Despite trying to reach the ***ager multiple times, I was unable to get clear information or resolve the issue. All these happened just one day before we could leave on our family vacation. Ultimately, I had to change my travel and booking plans due to the lack of available rooms and no proper response from Reservation team. My concern is with the poor ***agement of the booking process by the reservation team. Although I still believe the property is beautiful based on my sister's experience, the experience was significantly marred by the reservation team's handling of the situation.
