The room was at 25 degrees when we arrived. Reception adjusted something but it only brought the temperature down to 22 degrees and that seemed to take hours.

It meets all the requirements to qualify it as excellent: very central (on the Place du Municipalité), in a beautiful renaissance building with a magnificent indoor patio on which you can access both floors, large rooms, very clean, The hotel is located in the centre of the city. A great experience. We stayed only one night but left with great satisfaction. The location of the hotel is key , there were many interesting places in walking distance. The room was perfect and the service was great. The staff was very nice, cordial and helpful .We would recommend the Hotel Cetina Palacio de los Salcedo anytime.

This hotel is nice. The price was fair and the room was large. We thought the beds were comfortable and the pillows were great. The breakfast was decent and at a fair price of €12. Parking is a pain. I cannot imagine anyone over 60 having to deal with finding the city parking lot then walking through the historic town back to the hotel. They need a valet. Besides the parking difficulties, there is no food on site except breakfast. In the morning we needed to iron our clothes from the suitcase but were told the hotel does not have irons nor ironing boards. The staff was not unfriendly, but was not warm and welcoming either. Lastly, a bottle of water in the room is a must. Anyway, it is a good spot but we would try another hotel on our next visit.

We were pleasantly surprised. The room was a decent size and was comfortable and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was very good – close to sites we wanted to see and restaurants, the two we ate at turned out to be good and reasonably priced. You can park right under the hotel, a convenience. We ended up finding a handicapped spot a bit away, but what the heck it was free. The room rate was very reasonable at $75, total. Breakfast was additional, 8 euros each, I believe and was very disappointing with very limited and mediocre choices, although I did manage to get them to make me some scrambled eggs after a couple of attempts, because I think they had quite a bit of difficulty understanding my English. I would go elsewhere for breakfast, if you can find a place. The only weak link here.

Big hotel, former convent, smack in the middle of the medieval town of Baeza. Reception people: friendly, helpful. Rooms are reasonably big, slightly outdated and definately worn. Bathrooms are fine. The corridors are long ( former convent, indeed) and echo every footstep - very audibly. The breakfast is good and varied, the breakfast room, the lobby, the restaurant and the bar are austerely furnished, without a trace of homeliness or cozyness. This place caters mainly to big (bus-) travelgroups - and obviously no one expects you to stay more than one more night. The wifi system is a disaster. It is wholly inadequate in capacity and speed for such a big place. It hardly works, and it has not worked well for quite some time now ( we were told by a staff member) Read the older comments on Tripadvisor: this has been going on for some time now. Listen to your clients, please. A system upgrade is a relatively small investment. For now, you get one dot only from us because of poor client orientation.
