After checked-in realized the room is not the type I booked. Checked with the front desk, in the beginning they insist it's the correct room type until I showed them the photo/description on Trip.com app. They then said the information on Trip.com is incorrect, and twist again saying the information of room type is not passed down to the hotel. It's kinda obvious they knew it's different type of room, trying to find excuse by blaming the platform. They asked me to feedback to Trip.com but I know it's not going to solve my problem. They just try their luck like a scammer. After long negotiation, they said will compensate the price difference between the room types (ok now they admit the 2 rooms are different type, also means they were lying in the beginning). It was late evening already so I didn't ask clarify the amount of compensation. During check-out, they just return me 200k VND (8.20 USD) saying this is the price difference. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights, the price difference is definitely not just 200k VND. We were busy checking out to catch out bus to Hanoi, no more time to argue with them. Btw, on one of the evening when I spoke to one of the elder lady at front desk, she said we are the 3rd group with such issue, she said it's normal to her. Looking back the whole story, we can conclude it's a scam. About the room. The location is good, has a staircase connecting to the main street at the back of the hotel. The room has a weird smell, a strong smell from sewer pipes. The smell get stronger after we use the shower and basin. Breakfast is good. Wifi signal is poor, we mostly use our own local sim card. The room sound insulation is poor, can easily hear noise from next door and corridor.

Many beautiful sceneries can be see at this hotel.

It is very outdated, you can’t expect so much for 3 star hotel but cleanness need to be focused on. Toilet did not drain properly, wooden furnitures and fixtures in the toilet were looking terrible and smelled. Also found ants in the room. But location was great, the reception staffs were kind. View from the balcony is good.

A seemingly old and very tired hotel but in a good location. Quite a lot of things need looking at to get this anywhere near European standard.

Clean room, good location, although you may have to walk up a high road, it's not bad. Breakfast tastes good in some menus (fried rice is delicious. Delicious stir-fried cabbage) The view from the room is beautiful and worth staying. If there is a chance to travel again, will come back to stay at the same place. Lovely receptionist

It's a small hotel. Quite in the heart of Sapana city. Easy walk to the central courtyard Easy to go to Sun Plaza, not expensive the bedroom is comfortable There is a small window Opened out to see a view of the city a bit. Breakfast is a Vietnamese menu, pho and a few other things we don't know. Bread, salad, simple fruit. What we like is the service. We arrived at five o'clock. It's too early to check in. The hotel also has a sleeping cushion zone for massage. Enough space to lie down and relax temporarily Overall, it's okay. I'm impressed.

Correspondence of the front desk was precise even if we asked a question.

It was located on a hill so it was difficult to walk. The room was clean and nice, but the breakfast was not replenished even when food ran out. It felt like something was missing by 2%.

Book a room for 2 nights and arrive at the hotel early in the morning. Ask for early check-in with an additional charge of 200,000 VND. You're willing to pay this part to take a shower and relax before your next trip. Clean rooms, good service, good location, near tourist attractions.

While we were only staying one night, the staff not only allowed us to check in hours early, but also upgraded our room! Everyone was so kind and friendly, the room was great with a nice view overlooking the town and mountains.

One of the most hospitable hotel. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. Rooms are cozy and clean. We had really a very restful sleep. The view from our room is awesome too. And it’s a stone throw from the city center. Ask for the shortcuts from the hotel staff, they will be happy to share. Food served in the restaurant is good too! Loved their hotpot. Breakfast spread is also good! Mixture of East and west. Love their porridge and pho. Gonna miss them.

I stayed in a room facing wall. The tv channels are all in Vietnamese Mirror in bathroom only The short cut gate to town near the steps are closed The breakfast without eggs, sad Special venue for waiting for the night bus on 1st floor, with bathroom etc The cushions in the room were a bit smelly, should be wash regularly with softener maybe

Booked through Agoda. The room was ok from photo but in reality it was far less than what is presented. Room is small with poor lighting (natural and lit), also need some upgrade on furnitures and TV programs. I also had trouble with getting the hot water to work where I had to ask the reception twice for help. The first boy don’t understand water is not hot but warm then left me in the room. So I had to go up again a second time. The second boy came and let both the sink water and shower water run for 3-4 mins and then finally we got the hot water came. Such a wash on water! Could do better with upgrading the hot water system. I feel guttered that I have to make the water run to waste everytime I need a hot shower. Lucky it will only be 2 nights.
