The environment is warm and the room is big enough. The breakfast quality is good. There are school boxes and swimming pools for guests and carnival halls, and the reception staff is also very nice. Experience is very good

Skistar Lodge Trysil is located 800 Meters above sea level in Fageråsen,Trysil. Norway’s largest Ski Resort. Trysil are also a well-known bicycling area during summer. The hotel is located close to mountain bike lanes and a short car ride from “Gullia” where you can cycle in different trails, suitable for both beginners and more advanced bikers. During winter the hotel has ski in/ Ski out, with skiing for the whole family close by. Guests have a discount on the entrance fee for the on-site Kulpen Spa, featuring indoor as well as outdoor swimming pools, massages and other treatments. Additional facilities include a hot tub, sauna and gym.

We stayed in Trysil hotel and drove the 5 minutes up to the ski slopes for the last week of the ski season including the festival on the slopes and in town. This was agreat way to see some culture of Norway that staying in a ski apartment wouldn’t. We were a group of 5 fifty something British men. Trysil hotel is excellent for a group like this with the the bakery, craft beers and easy automated check in. It is cool without trying to be too flash/posh, it is simple and provides the basics in the room well, the staff are friendly and helped us make the most of our stay in the town. We ate in the hotel one evening and the food was excellent and everyone enjoyed the breakfasts each day.
