Hair on rim of toilet was a nice touch. Also the rusted radiator & lights in bathroom.
But especially the drywall dust on carpet by the closet & bureau. Spackle bucket and used sandpaper on bureau. Plus open bucket of paint all on bureau - in case we wanted to finish the job!

This older hotel was clean and nicely maintained. The beds are comfortable and there was a small breakfast bar that we liked. The staff are helpful and friendly

Staff was great, location was very convenient. The room smelled like cigarette smoke, even though it’s been non smoking for a long time. The bed was clean and comfortable. The carpet looked clean. The walls need some drywall and paint work, the chairs need new fabric and I needed to use a butterfly clip to hold the window curtains closed.
If the room was $75 per night I wouldn’t have written this, but because it was a bit more, I expected more.

We stay here when we come to events at Penn's Peak and rooms are clean, and everything is in proper working order. However, the diner 2 doors down, Beacon 443, is absolutely terrible. Go to the Boulevard instead 😁

IT WAS WHAT I WOULD CALL QUAINT......SOMEWHAT OUTDATED BUT IT WAS PART OF THE CHARM......VERY CLEAN ..NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL....A GOO0D VALUE COMPARSD TO WHAT IS AROUND THE AERA....

This was advertised as being $80.00 a night. At check in I was charged $90.00 plus tax. False information. The room was fine but not as pictured!

The place is old, dated, chipped paint, blankets have burned holes and the hvac system is noisy. Not their fault, but a stink bug on the sheets.
Won’t stay here again!

The room stated non-smoking but smelled of smoke when we entered the room. Windows did not lock. No coffee maker in the room. Bathroom was dirty. The table tops all were dirty. The heater kept coming on every 5 mins and it was loud. There were stink bugs on the wall. I doubt we will go there again. Very disappointed - room did not look like the picture.

Very cozy and rustic. A little dated but it added to the charm. Continental breakfast was very fresh, coffee was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were so comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the mountains behind us. Will definitely be coming back!
