Ideally located when travelling from Bilbao to Portugal. Very clean, large room with comfortable beds. Staff were efficient at the front desk. Did not use the restaurant. Instead, went across the road to Meson del Douro for dinner. Service was quick. If you don’t speak Spanish translate menu online so you know what to order.

El parador está bien ubicado y las instalaciones limpias y espacios amplios, por lo q deberían habilitar estancias para fumadores. Lo que no es nada recomendable es la comida del restaurante. Tanto la calidad del producto como su elaboración no están a la altura de un cuatro estrellas y restauración dos tenedores.

We stopped for the night after having to change our parador from Lerma as the town had a fiesta, and we were concerned about parking. The room was ok. The bed comfy and the bathroom was ok, although it would be better if they removed the bidet so you could open the door wider. We walked into the town where we found a lovely plaza to sit and enjoy a beer in the sunshine. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. We both had a starter and main but should have forgone the starters as we had far too much food! I had the suckling pig and husband the suckling lamb. Both were ok, but we had higher expectations after reading other reviews.

We stopped in Tordesillas while visiting some of the wineries in the area. The Parador is located in the outskirts of the the city. They have good installations with ample rooms. Personally, I think a one night stay is enough.

As always in a Parador, everything was perfect. Tordesillas is however special because of its setting in the pine woodland. It is friendly for electric cars as it is possible to recharge your vehicle overnight; a service that more hotels should offer to help with ecological transition.

I have stayed at this Parador over 20 times. It is fine…but it needs to be updated. Rooms are too old and not up to the 4 star standars

We had a pleasant experience at this Parador as returning guests. Our junior suite was very comfortable, quiet and overlooking the pine trees and spacious. Not to mention warm and well looked after. We find this Parador somehow very cosy as it is away from all, specially at the time of Christmas period. The evening meal offered an excellent choice of local gastronomy. Morning breakfast was energetic and a wide variety of products to choose from.
