This is probably the best hotel I ever stayed in, anywhere in the world. The attentiveness and professionalism of absolutely every stuff member - is beyond imaginable. Ask something one day - the next day an absolutely different reception shift which you never saw - greets you like they know you for weeks and remembers everything you ever asked during previous days from different reception personnel. And no - there's no "let me check in the computer", they just know! Breakfast personnel - yes, they know what you like, from your previous morning there (and, BTW, breakfast until 11am is a great idea). Everyone speaks perfect English, everyone is always smiling. No idea what's the secret there, but this place is managed in an absolutely perfect way.

The MonAsty has been the biggest surprise in years. Yes it has solid 5 stars on TripAdvisor and it is new. But that doesn’t do justice to what you can expect. I hardly ever write reviews - but this Hotel deserves a glowing one! First of all: As a Bonvoy Titanum Elite, it is one of the few Hotels that make you feel appreciated and not just say it. From arrival through the whole stay - welcome gifts, upgrades, drink with dinner, you name it, they have it. Not only is the front desk super friendly and helpful, but also efficient. The Rooms may have some quirks, but they are super clean, beautifully designed and if you are lucky enough to get a jacuzzi, you are all set. You will leave relaxed - but you don’t actually want to leave - ever. The breakfast has all you need from a wide selection at the buffet, to perfectly cooled eggs benedict to a glass of bubbles if you are in the mood. Plus the most amazing fresh orange juice. The restaurant actually deserves an own review. But here’s the highlights: Amazing food, great quality, quantity and again - super friendly and attentive. The bar serves perfect cocktails and the spritzer are something else. Conclusion: This is how you do fancy Hotel experience!

It was our first time at MonAsty and we enjoyed the warm welcome by the whole team the moment we arrived. We were showed to our room which was quiet as requested and had a modern interior. During our stay we noticed a small issue with the water temperature which was addressed promptly. There was a nightly live music at the bar downstairs which was not intrusive. I noticed that the small entrance area equipped with a couple of tables was well liked by guests and locals who came here to have coffee which made the scenery more lively. What really stood out was the hospitality of the staff and especially Ms. Vana who went above and beyond to organize a dinner reservation for us at a unique location. Since it was on Dec. 29 most of the places were booked already and it was only due to her that we were able to celebrate with our friends in this memorable spot. As highlighted by others the location in the center of the city is a major advantage for shopping, sightseeing and dining. We highly recommend this hotel and will be back hopefully soon.

Change of travel plans meant that I needed to spend a night in Thessaloniki before returning home. It was a wonderful opportunity to spend more time in a city I have visited and enjoyed over many years. Today the city is much improved in terms of its environment, cultural life and the impact of many thousands of creative students. the position on the sea is superb and, altogether, this is a great place to visit. Set near the sea, just off Aristoteleous pedestrian street, is the MonAsty Hotel. It seemed fine for a night. What a delightful surprise this turned out to be! This hotel is a gem, at every level. The welcome was outstanding. Calm and efficient as well as friendly and exceptionally informative. All helped surprisingly by a nice welcome glass of prosecco. After check-in, a staff member accompanied me to the room. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed and quite luxurious. The design and ambience of everything in this hotel is top class. It has an understated elegance that enchants - with a quiet and serene air. After exploring the streets and cafés, i was able to come back and enjoy a cocktail in the charming and swish bar. An excellent night's sleep was followed by an excellent breakfast - with some of the best eggs benedict I have ever had. Wonderful and relaxing hotel. My only regret is that I only had one night. I look forward to returning one day.

Excellent hotel in a very convenient location at the city's centre. Rooms are well appointed and the pool on the 9th floor is cozy. Breakfast is very good, the cappuccino and eggs benedict top. Thank you Sevy, Konstantina and Olga for looking after us.

Perfect location within a walking distance to anything you’d like to see, cozy room and delicious breakfast. Very helpful staff. Sort of soundproof windows, almost no noise from the street was heard with a window closed. Nice bathroom with a lot of space and shelves, also I loved the body lotion - it worked very well on my dry and sensitive skin. We’ve checked out early and agreed on breakfast boxes and taxi to be arranged. In the morning we were ready to check out even a bit earlier. Our taxi was rearranged (thanks for that) but the driver accepted only cash and we didn’t get out breakfast boxes, so I recommend to remember reminding anything you might have already requested even if it’s super early and you’d expect it to be in their system 😉

A beautifully designed and newly-opened hotel, close to Aristotelous Square. We stayed in a room overlooking the street below but provided with a timber brise-soliel in front of the balcony to reduce direct sunlight into the room. The room was very modern with many clever details and a superb palette of finishes, in particular the bathroom was really good. Our only criticism, a minor one, was that the switches were difficult to read (brown on brown) and were not illuminated at night, leading to some groping around feeling for switches. We did not see that we had to press a further switch to have the room cleaned! The staff were extremely attentive and very pleasant and obliging. The roof-top bar, pool and gym was a great venue, taking advantage of the cooler night air and the magnificent views across the city and up to the castle. This was clearly a very trendy place and popular with the locals, who booked seats to entertain their friends. The atmosphere was relaxed and easy, with gentle music and a well-stocked bar. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely great! Helpful and knowledgeable staff, outstanding design, cleanliness everywhere, nice amenities, excellent breakfast, perfect location for exploring Thessaloniki. Botargo restaurant is highly recommended. Modern design with high quality furniture and materials everywhere in the hotel - rooms, restaurant, breakfast area. Different attractive lighting scenes in the rooms. Comfortable beds and good selection of pillows.
