As a result of an absurd decision by Wings Air, we were asked to leave the aircraft in Ternate, leaving the checked baggage, during the flight Manado-Ternate - Labuha. Help with finding a hotel and transportation was not provided by the company. Expected back at the airport at 05.00 the next morning. Ultimately, the Boulevard Hotel found us willing to accept us as a guest overnight. Simple small room of approx. 9 m2, including the shower and toilet. Traffic noise, noisy hotel, mainly aimed at Indonesian guests. Room had AC and the beds were clean. No restaurant and the promised early breakfast never seen. Staff was friendly. Proficiency in the English language was minimal.

One of the better hotels in Ternate. It was very clean, quite rare in Ternate. Blankets are duvets with covers on. Hot shower that works, toilet seats you'll be happy to sit on. Good sized bedrooms, good lighting, have windows. But the window of the single room we stayed in faces the hallway for maintenance/staff access, so privacy is a little compromised. The sheer curtain helps a little. Smoke free room. Breakfast is good with snacks and rice/noodles, vegetable stir fry, chicken dish and two choices of fruit, fresh tea and coffee. Staff are friendly and offered help with luggage. Prices for room service are reasonable. Good location for the airport and local amenities.
