Tendo Central Hotel

I used it to go to the Hanagasa Festival. It's 7 stops and 20 minutes away from Yamagata Station. It's about a 5-minute walk from Tendo Station. There's a Family Mart next door, and the building is quite old, but the interior has been repainted with new wallpaper, there's an air purifier, and the room was well-cleaned and clean. The bathroom is quite large for a normal business hotel, but there was mold on the ceiling, not on the walls, which was not very hygienic. I didn't mind it much, so I went in as usual. I filled the bathtub with hot water, took a leisurely bath, pulled the plug, and was washing my hair when I heard a strong sewage sound and opened the curtains to find that the toilet side of the unit bath was flooded lol. I wonder if the drainage is a bit defective... It didn't accumulate on the dressing side, but just flowed away, so it wasn't that much of a problem. The bed was 120cm wide, so I was able to sleep comfortably. When I checked in, I chose Japanese or Western breakfast, and when I went to the dining room from 7:00, it was served immediately. There are sample photos to help you choose. I chose the Japanese meal, and the rice was very delicious. The seasoning was light, and the meal consisted of natto, grilled soybeans, grilled fish fillets, a small bowl of hijiki, pickled radish, and seasoned seaweed. It seems that you can have more rice. They also lend out mobile phone chargers, and there is a laundry room on the first floor, so it seems that some people stay there for multiple nights. I had a corner room on the seventh floor, but the Wi-Fi was a bit weak. It costs 5,600 yen per night, including breakfast, so it is a reasonable hotel to stay at.

Because it is an older business hotel, there are no outlets for charging smartphones around the bed, which is inconvenient. Other than that, there are no particular inconveniences. The beds are low, which may be a concern for some people. The parking lot is small, so it may be difficult to park a large car. The breakfast is a set meal and is quite sufficient.
