Stay in Deluxe room, spacious, ample solid wood furnishing, bed, sliding wooden door curtain gave a antique warm feel, bathtub was a treat, many newer hotel wouldn't have bathtub for RM150 per night, marble bathroom floor and sinktop, looks wee b it aged but functions well. Personally for environmental friendliness, it is better to maintain quality aged furnishing in hotel rather than continuously dismantling older furnishing to change to new ones which likely to be of less quality, like no longer solid wood or marble. Lobby and breakfast area also have marble floor, lavish chandelier, wood frame walls. Breakfast though limited choice was quite tasty. Just one suggestion: please provide milk for coffee rather than just using creamer pack.

LA hotel used to be one of the best hotels in Tawau, but not now. The facilities and services of other new hotels are much better than LA hotel now. Those new hotels may not have breakfast in their packages but the hotel rate is reasonable. LA hotel's breakfast quality has lots of room to improve.

New hotel, clean & big room. Located inside Garden city building a new outlet mall in Tawau. Surround with many restaurant & entertainment.

Booked a double room with king bed.. size of room is decent, but the toilet is rather small.. however, the stay is satisfactory, daily housekeeping and replenish of towels and amenities. Hot shower and air conditioning, tv with few channels, hair dryer, iron and kettle all in working condition.. recommended.

The place was really nice, convenient and clean. No amenities as it feels more like a backpackers inn. More than worth for the price for divers who need 24 hours before flying. With tons of food and other necessities nearby. If you are staying here and love seafood please try Kam Ling Seafood.

The room is comfortable, clean and tidy, and the environment is beautiful and quiet. The key is that the housekeeper is super nice, responsive to all requests, and proficient in Chinese! It is very suitable for people who are bringing the elderly and children, who are not good at English and want to travel abroad to book here!

I stayed for one night in the standard room. Surprisingly good in such a small budget hotel. Very clean and very comfortable, standard room facilities, in the safe in the room they even provide you with toothbrushes, combs and disposable slippers. (These are available in rooms only 4 stars and more than 4 stars now)...you can find many small restaurants (seafood) opposite the hotel. PS: The hotel front desk and the hotel backstage CCTV can be seen on room TV. They'll also deliver FOC coconut rice to your room in the morning.

Staying at Manju Linshe Resort was the wisest decision I made during this trip to Semporna, and I highly recommend it. The boss is Cantonese and very nice. Staying at Manju Linshe Resort, you can eat seafood freely at one-tenth the domestic price. I earned my travel expenses back after eating for three days. I jumped on all three lines of the island hopping tour. Saw the beautiful scenery of the island. The seafood is delicious, and it costs the most for a day on the island. Plus the boss's home-like service. Don't be too happy with the price/performance ratio.
