Hamanoyu

The room is big, it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the lake, and there is plenty of food and accommodation. It is beyond expectations. The hot springs are also very good.

It's a long-established hotel on the shore of Lake Suwa, but strictly speaking it's not on the lake, but rather far away. Therefore, compared to Sagi-no-Yu and Nunohan, which are located on the lakeside, it is definitely not as good in terms of scenery. As a result, the hot springs are spacious, and there are also open-air baths and saunas. The interior of the lobby is luxurious. Since we were eating out this time, we only had breakfast, but instead of a buffet style, they prepared a Japanese set meal for us. The content was quite voluminous. The waiter will refill your rice, but if another customer requests a refill of miso soup, you can get the rice but not the miso soup! I flatly refused. It wasn't crowded, so they should have provided that level of service. Although it was someone else's fault, I felt disappointed.

``Hama-no-Yu'' met all of my standards. It is recommended. Basically, it's an expensive hotel, but thanks to the ``Nationwide Travel Support Shinshu Wari Special,'' I was able to stay at a reasonable price. My personal standards are: ``Spacious with free parking,'' ``Close to the station,'' ``Good cleaning,'' ``Friendly and courteous staff,'' ``Luxurious lobby,'' ``Large public bath and open-air bath,'' and ``Large public bath.'' Lake Suwa is nearby,'' and so on. I think "Hama no Yu" is recommended.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, my husband and I have been going out to hot spring inns twice a month. My wife said she wanted to go to Nagano Prefecture, so we made plans and made a reservation at Hama no Yu. Since I arrived early, I took the first bath in the large public bath. I was able to relax and enjoy both the medicinal herb bath and the open-air bath. We had a Kaiseki meal carefully selected by the chef in a private room on the second floor, and all the dishes were delicious, and the fillet steak after the Japanese meal was the best. I enjoyed Mr. Nakai's charming timing and explanation of the food. The breakfast was delicious and I ate too much. As expected, it is a 5 star accommodation. I would like to stay again.
