Hamanoyu

The room facilities are a bit old, but the service experience was excellent, especially the Japanese set menu breakfast which was exquisite. It's also quite close to Suwa Shrine and Lake Suwa, and just a 5-minute walk from the train station.

The hotel's proximity to the station was a huge plus. It was incredibly helpful to be able to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out. The service was excellent as well. Although the Wi-Fi was a bit weak, everything else was perfect, and we had a very comfortable stay!

The lobby and facilities are beautifully decorated in a classic, elegant style. All the staff are friendly. I can't quite remember his name, but a male staff member whose name started with 'Xiao' on his name tag was exceptionally kind. He helped me call a round-trip taxi to the park and made a great effort to communicate with me, a foreigner.

It was a lovely stay.

It is close to Kamisawa Station. The hot springs aren't spacious, but they are nice. There isn't a convenience store right next door, but it is just a short walk away. All the staff are very friendly! I would like to thank the female staff member at the front desk who kindly assisted me in English. The lobby on the first floor is also really pretty. If you are visiting Suwa, I highly recommend this place.
