Effect Grand Victoria Hotel - Ultra All Inclusive

The hotel is very central perfect location if you want to be close to bars, restaurants and beach Our room was on 7 floor view of mountains and beach it was very spacious and clean fresh towels every 2 days and fresh bedding also toilet rolls are provided if you run out the housekeeping will provide Food we found to be very good plenty of choices and good produce the al la carte restaurants italian, sushi, tepenkaki are fantastic we enjoyed So much but only allowed one each per visit. The snack bad was open 7- 5 and offered breakfast, then at 11.30 a great variety of food burgers hotdogs pizza smoked salmon, or prosciutto sandwiches Not to mention hot foods like pasta or chicken and pork. Cakes biscuits and hot waffles and ice creams. We liked the bars and cocktails that were amazing and even made some that weren't on the menu at guests' requests.the 24-hour bar was fantastic for early mornings, coffee, or teas. The negatives have to get up at 6 am for beach bed then again at 8 am to collect tickets. The pool beds are very close together. They need to take one some chairs to make more space. The main dining area is small for the number of guests and on 3 levels, which, when busy, is unsafe as going up and down stairs. It's very crowded at times. All in all, we had a great holiday at a great price. I would definitely recommend it. (George and tatinana) bar staff were especially amazing. Some staff were miserable, especially the two young boys,who served at a bar near the snacks. In fact, they were very rude and looked unhappy to serve guests!!

When we talk about how they organize their facilities, I can say it’s pure humiliating for their guests. Limited Number of sunbeds, you need to wake up at 6 am to book a a tiket for free sunbed. After that you need to return at 8 am to pickup your tiket, if you ar not there when they call your room number, they assign your tiket to another person:)). Parking is 1 kilometer away from hotel, so every time you need to take your car you need to walk 20 minutes in afternoon sun at 35 degrees Celsius. No phone in room to contact reception, I bought my own toilet paper, because they provided only 1 day from 5 of staying. Breakfast, every day same food,dinner a little bit diversified. Definitely it’s not a 4 stars hotel, only the price is 4 stars (200€/ day). Nice hotel with bad management.

Hotel was good but a little bit small and old , they have to reneq the gym make it bigger and the main restaurant was very very small but the food was amazing . But the must spectacular and amzaing excellent was the tepenyaki restaurant and the chef Ivan was the best chef in bulgaria that i have met

It was our second holiday during this summer and I have to say it surpass all expectations . Staff is really incredible. Everyone is trying to make your holiday the best. Gergana at the reception is the sweetest. Stela and Bojidara are best bartenders I have ever met! And I cant forget to mention all animation team, what an incredible people. Room was clean and pretty big. I never had such a comfy bed! Food was various and tasty. A la carte restaurants are up to the mark. During this two weeks at the hotel we met super nice people, we had great time and we will remember this holiday for a very long time! If someone will ask me for a recommendation for a hotel af the Sunny Beach, my answer will be definitely Effect Grand Victoria 💙

I would like the administration of the hotel to bring in the attention that on the scheduled time people weren’t given a card for the beach umbrella and beach chair. When we arrived to get the card at 8 AM, no one gave us the card even though the administration had it in their hands and were beach chairs available for use. That doesn’t seem fair in relation to other tourists. We felt like we were lied to because we paid for it but we aren’t able to receive it.

The hotel has a good male receptionist who speaks English fluently. Other personnel was not that nice but at least they struggled. Food was ok in the main restaurant. Italian and asian restaurant were very good. Congratulations for the asian night. Room size ok, beds ok, sheets could be a little biggher. I couldn't here the ventilator in the bathroom so i complained a couple of times that its not working. They said it s a very silent ventilation and that how it works.🤨 For the beach the sunbeds were free only for those who went before 7 am to the reception to get tickets! This was the worse part. a All in all a good Hotel. PS: Beware of the parking, if the area you parked on is not marked they come pick your car up!

The hotel is wonderful and comfortable. We rested from 04.06-11.06.2023. During our stay at the hotel, we visited the Italian restaurant with delicious dishes and good service. We tasted Caesar salad with salmon, squid with vegetables, gnocchi with truffle sauce and cheesecake with sorbet. The dishes were prepared professionaly and deliciously by three chefs. We also visited the teppanyaki. We were treated by chef Ivan - the professional in his field. We enjoyed soup, salad, seafood, rise with egg and ice cream with caramel.

good things - the staff were without exception brilliant, the location was great, by the lovely beach. The room in itself was comfortable, clean and big enough with TV, balcony, nice bathroom with good shower. Free 1 km away parking 24 hours surveillance with free transport. The restaurant is very small for the amount of guests. There were people with plates from the buffet in their hands and couldn't find a table and that was at the beginning of the season. All the food was lukewarm or cold. That was the biggest letdown for us. We won't go back. The pool area is small and the amount of sun loungers and on the beach are limited. The air conditioning didn't work and it was very noisy at night.

We booked two family apartments in February for July, and paid 50% in advance. As our plans changed, I had to cancel the booking April, months before the date of arrival. In despite of their cancellation policy, the several emails and calls, they continuously refused paying back the deposit, referring to "technical issues". These mysterious issues had been resolved as the case was escalated to the European Consumer Centre Bulgaria and after 7 weeks of they send the money back without a single apology or even a word. I am glad we did not see them more closely.
