What to say about Kaiyu ?! That we were so pleasantly surprised by the place in itself. A former business hotel which was transformed by Mitsu and his family into a warm cosy, with a sustainable spirit, and finely decorated place while keeping the original structure. Each room has its personality and every room has a wonderful view on the Oki beach. The welcome was very warm and simple at the same time. The onsen was just pure hapiness ! Sharing moments and meals with Mitsu, his family and the other guests was sincerely joyful and invigorating, with a special mention to Tae who cooks divinely well. We did feel like home. And we do also hope to stay there again in the future ! Thank you Mitsu, Tae, Kazu & Marie. From the bottom of our heart, Juliette & Eric

Deliberately rushed from Kobe to Awaji Island and stayed in the recommended hotel for classmates. The hotel is fully equipped with five or six pools in the hot springs and five or six people in the Japanese-style rooms. Unfortunately, due to bad weather, the sunrise was not seen the next day. I didn't book the dinner at the hotel. I don't know how to compare the price. There aren't any good restaurants nearby, and basically I can only eat if I drive. There is a big gap with the psychological expectation. If you have the chance to come to the island to watch the sunrise, you will consider staying. The problem is that you don't want to come to this island...

The couple took care of me for one night after bicycle Awaichi. We changed our plan without meals to breakfast the next day. Thank you for responding to the sudden change. The breakfast was very delicious. It was great if there was a toilet on the guest room floor, but I was able to relax in the calm envy of Japanese style.

I was really looking forward to the inn that I had been interested in for a long time because of the commercials and word of mouth. When I arrived by car, the bell asked my name, but I was told that there was no reservation... I got out of the car in a hurry and checked the bell's form, and there was a name at the bottom. For a moment, I was quite impatient as to whether I made a mistake in the reservation date. When I entered the room, there were grains of rice on the soles of my husband's and children's feet. I've stayed in many places before, but this is the first time I've experienced something like this, and my tension has dropped. . . There are 3 hot springs, an infinity bath, an open-air bath near the sea, a red bath, a jet bath, etc. It was my first time to see such a wide variety of hot springs. You can use towels as much as you want, and there is a tea service at the bathing area. I could see the ocean from my room, and the corridor leading to New Awaji was also reminiscent of Hawaii. The employees are young and everyone greets you. There was also a big Christmas tree, and I was able to taste Christmas ahead of time. Facilities and hot springs are 5. The meal was normal because it was a standard plan. Rating 3 because it was disappointing when it arrived. The price is also high, so I want you to have a thorough service from the beginning.

The parking lot is a little far away when using the car, so I think it's easy to contact the hotel and go. I thought it was difficult for a bad foot person, because it was a staircase from the outside to the front desk. This time it was a reservation for a Japanese room. There was also a unit bus, a futon was laid in a tatami room and a simple Wi-Fi. There is a supermarket nearby. It is close to Mt. Mikuma and Sumoto Jo castle.

Compared with domestic resort hotels, the facilities are old, well maintained, and feel the upper and middle level. The hot spring area is not big, and the ”night food” and beef rice next to it are delicious. The picture was taken by the Apple House, far from the hotel (one east and one west).
