Bluebird Cady Hill Lodge

I just stayed here with my mom for one night as it was our very first time in Vermont. This was the PERFECT place to stay and we are sad we couldn’t stay longer. The entire property was renovated and it is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. It’s the perfect combination of woodsy, peaceful, sleek, and clean. The staff was really nice. There is even an arcade, small shop, free coffee bar, and spacious lobby area with tons of seating. We enjoyed our stay as it was so close to Main Street and all the shops and restaurants.

Convenient, cute Vermont accommodation, well located near town and ski resort of Stowe. The recent refurbishment has a retro ski lodge vibe for the rooms and common space that was great for happy hour drinks with our large group. Good value, and while we stayed in winter, probably lovely in all seasons. If you haven't been to Stowe- you need to go!

The property was nice, upgraded motel. Was a bit pricy, but it's Stowe in the winter. Loud in the morning with the occupants wearing ski boots walking around. Staff was great!

The here is just perfect. Rustic modern with a warm, cozy cabin feel. The rooms were clean, bed super comfortable, linens soft. We stayed in a double queen, suite, and it was plenty big for our family of five. Great location. Amenities (pool, sauna, hot tub) all nice and felt great after a long day. Warm and welcoming staff, great communication with multiple text messages making sure everything was taken care of. Great place to stay and we love stowe so we’ll definitely be back! I would like to start with I was unaware this was a motel. On their website it says “boutique Hotel”. I have stayed in many boutique hotels, and this was a boutique “motel” The staff were friendly, and the room was newly renovated and they really have added some nice homie touches! The room was clean with the exception of a pillow decorated in BLOOD …We threw it in the closet, but it kind of killed any chance I would stay here again, because we had dirty towels on top of this. Clean towels and sheets are a must! The first night the fire alarm light flashed red all night over my bed. It was a big square so it kept me up. They came the next day to assess it, but the maintenance staff did not know why it was going off, but he was able to fix it. The parking areas are a death trap in the winter and we slipped plenty carrying our luggage upstairs and just simply trying to go to our car. They really need to address this. There are no amenities because if you wanted to swim, you would have to walk from your building to the main building on the iced over parking areas in the freezing cold, no thanks. I could see this being appealing In the summer though. There is no restaurant or bar, and at over $500 dollars a night( what I paid) for a regular motel room, I would rather spend my money where I can have it all, that’s me though. The room was quiet which was wonderful, so they get points for sound proofing.

Would have been a 5 star rating but there was NO HOT WATER Not even a little bit. After a long day of skiing you need hot water. Also, this was at 4pm when no other guests were there and using hot water.

The room was cozy, and overall pretty clean and comfortable. The room did not match exactly to the photo (which is not a huge deal. The couch was next to the bed and there was no table and chairs.

Stayed two nights here to ride with my friends at Stowe Mountain and it was a very nice stay. All the amenities needed. Location is perfect as it’s 10 mins from the mountain and close to so many restaurants. Will definitely be staying again.

They have really done a wonderful job of giving their accommodations and lodge a chic face lift. Not to mention one of the most comfortable beds and pillows Ive ever had at a hotel. Great place and the staff works hard to make sure your experience is a good one!
