Staff were really lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble and the food was really nice also. The lady on the reception and bar was so lovely and she made a fuss of my girls which was so nice. I stayed in a family room, just myself and my two children. The room was very spacious with a double bed, two singles and even a sofa in the little lounge area. It had all the essentials including a kettle with tea and coffee, a big enough TV, a big bathroom with a bath and shower. Shower gel provided and lovely fluffy towels, hair dryer if needed and the beds were very comfortable. The wifi was also decent. However it is very dated, it could do with updating the rooms slightly. It was very dull looking and could use some fresh paint, some of the plugs didn't work and one had a big crack down it, which didn't seem safe especially in a family room where kids are staying. It could also do with some black out curtains especially with lighter nights as one of my girls struggled to sleep because it was very light in the room even at 10pm. There was also a lot of noise coming from above but that wasn't the hotels fault but the inconsiderate people staying there letting their child stamp around and shout and scream until nearly midnight. But not a bad hotel. And we had a plesent stay.

I had a twin room but I was on my own. My daughter had a family room with her two daughters. The lady in reception was lovely and has a great sense of humour. The food was lovely too and the lady on reception seemed to be the waitress and bar tender too. Its a motel and looked very much like a US one. My daughter loved her room. The motel is very tired and desperately needs doing up. The toilet seat was broken in my room. Also the curtains were hanging off and I had to climb on a chair to try to hook them over the rail. There was also a battery missing in the remote control. It definitely wasn't worth the money. However, with a bit of tlc could be lovely. I slept well!

No Food, kitchen being decorated, ordered food in that was cold, rubbish all over the car park and overflowing from the bins, have called down the reception to ask them to get music turned down in the rooms above, seems the occupants that the government are paying for to stay here sleep all day and when you complain about noise as you have to get up for work in the morning they don’t bother to investigate it.

First up the lady on reception seemed really helpful and keen to explain that bar was open, serving meals and what time breakfast was etc. The rooms were clean etc and the layout kind of reminded me of a motel that you might see in the US. The room was of a good size, as was the bathroom. Plenty of tea and coffee available. The TV was a bit on the small side and the wiring on the plug looked dicey but other than that no complaints. There was a reasonable selection of food on offer at the bar, the prices were also fairly reasonable. This place is quite close to Alton Towers and is reasonably priced.

Late check in greeted by pleasant receptionist who was helpful. Room was easy to find and clean with clean bedding. Bed was comfy. Overall the room was a little tired but functional. Biggest let down was bathroom which while spacious had toilet roll holder broken and sat in window sill and the sink was blocked. Both of these things housekeeping must have been aware of. Worst thing about the stay was the shower....not great pressure but many places aren't but some fool has fit the shower curtain so close to the shower head it literally sticks to you like cold cling film as you are showering!! On the whole all OK for the price.... would stay again when travelling through but wouldn't pay more.

The first room we were given we were unable to get into. Had to go to reception 5 times to get a new card so we could get in. Next day was the same after returning from our day out. Got moved to another room. This one had a stain on the carpet which looked like nail polish. Rooms are needing an update old and tired looking. Bathroom was dirty. Curtains weren't even hung properly in the 2nd room.

We've been here before , and usually have good service, but today I went a party which didn't cater for the 100 people. Noi ebpgh chairs, food ran out Fter 50 people, not enough bar staff, even the women's toilet paper rab out. Terrible.! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
