Creta Palm Resort Hotel & Apartments

We came to spend an ending of a long winter to Creta Palm for the second time but not the last. Atmosphere in the hotel is great, rooms are nice and tidy, food variety for breakfast and dinner (half board) was very worth of having especially now when the season was just beginning and there were not many places yet open nearby. But in the end its come to people and the warm and caring service. Thank You!

This hotel was one of the best i’ve been to. The rooms were very clean and everyday our new towels were put into the shape of boats or bows. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfy. There was such a good variety of food for breakfast, including cooked breakfast, yogurt, fruit, pancakes, cereal, granola, cake and biscuits. I absolutely loved the cats that wandered around the hotel. Bar staff Jimmis was very friendly and easy to speak to. I would 100% come again.

Had an amazing two week stay here. We were breakfast only and it was a great buffet with SO much variety - the pancakes and the smoothies were my favourite. There are two pool/bar areas. Our apartment was beside the upper pool area which we loved - it got the sun all day and we loved the music from the bar and overall atmosphere. Gregoris was so kind and friendly! The hotel had a lot of different nationalities of guests but I loved this aspect. I loved that hardly anybody reserved sun loungers with towels at a ridiculous time of morning (👍!). The hotel staff were the best that I have ever come across. The bar staff, the restaurant staff, the cleaners, the receptionists, they are all so friendly and welcoming. We didn’t rent a safe - we trusted our cleaner with everything and she did an amazing job going above and beyond every day. The hotel has a gym, games room, computer facilities, massage service (worth every penny!), kids playroom, luggage storage and showers. We tried the hotel evening buffet one night for 16 euros and this was amazing food with lots of variety again (salad/fish/meat/side dishes/veg). As we only included breakfast, we had some great meals in Stalos and Agia Marina. Our favourite was Kri Kri, located just a walk away from the hotel. The beach is directly opposite the road so amazing location. The loungers only cost us 7 euros for two all day! Again, as it was September there were plenty of these spare and one day we didn’t even get asked to pay. The hotel is in a good location for organised day trips as the coaches all come along this road. We did an organised day trip to Balos Beach and it was incredible! Stalos itself is a vibrant town with choices of bars and restaurants. You can walk further (20 mins) to Agia Marina which is another similar town with further bars/restaurants. You can also take a 10 euros taxi or the bus to the next town called Platanias which is even more vibrant. Chania is the city and a must visit. We visited 5 times for an evening meal and they offer day or evening boat trips from the Venetian Port (must see!). A taxi to Chania cost 15 euros and there was generally always one parked up outside the hotel. I recommend the bus. Any journey costs 1.30 each and they are frequent (I think around every 30 mins). If you want to go to Chania or that direction, turn right from the hotel and you there is a bus stop 1 min walk away. If you want to go the towns further up such as Agia Marina, Platanias or further, cross the road from the hotel and walk right and there is a bus stop outside of Tony’s Supermarket. There are also bus times online. We took the bus home from Chania most times as just got it from the central bus station. Side note - if you want to feed the cats / kittens, the small shop outside the hotel sells cat food for 90 cents per pack! The cats will absolutely love you! Sports Bar for live sport is located 5 mins walk away at Pint O Clock.

Jimmis are best bartender on earth.Food was good.Katos Stalos was nice.Room`s are clean and cleaners was very handfull and nice.We rent a ATV and driving about 650 kilometers around the South iland.Very nice iland.

The hotel consists of many low buildings. It has two nice swimmingpools, each with its own children's pool. The hotel is clean and the staff very nice. The food was very good and - yippee! - the beds were very comfortable! We had to cross a busy road to get to the beach and the hotel didn't have its own, free sunbeds there. That, and that we had to pay for pooltowels and for a safe, were the only things that were not suite satisfied with given the hotels four stars.

Creta Palm is a very nice hotel resort. We got a beautiful spacious apartment, with two huge terraces, one with a view of the sea and the pool, and the other with a view of the pool, it has two large rooms, a kitchen… it's a great apartment. The hotel is very clean and looks amazing. Food is excellent, with many choices for breakfast and dinner. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly, communicative, helpful and willing to do anything for you. The location of the hotel is ideal, it is very close to the one of the most beautiful beaches in western Crete. The beach is wide, sandy, the water is very clean, and wonderful for swimming. We enjoyed our time there, and we will definitely go back next summer. Dragana and Danijela

We have enjoyed a fantastic week at Creta Palm Resort. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. The rooms are cleaned daily to a high level of cleanliness by friendly house keeping staff. Jimmis the head barman, ably assisted by Stratos are a credit to the hotel making everybody extremely welcome. Jimmis outgoing personality is an attribute and an asset to a great hotel. Stayed at the creta palm for 10 nights very relaxing , hotel kept so clean all staff work very hard .The bar staff jimmy and statros are a credit to the hotel nothing was to much trouble even giving recommendations where to eat in the evening because our stay was bed and breakfast and we wasn’t disappointed , we will return
