Hotels with Breakfast in St. Wolfgang

The White Horse Hotel on Lake Wolfgang is well-deserved and the hotel is almost an attraction. It is located in the heart of the town, next to the town’s church, the hotel’s swimming pool and Wolfgang Lake are close to each other and can be conveniently located at the lake. The hotel breakfast is not particularly rich, but the variety and taste are also quite satisfactory, but the dinner at the lake view restaurant is definitely worth a try, the taste is amazing, not the ordinary Michelin knife and fork. The only downside of the hotel is that the hot water temperature is not stable and it is easy to get cold and hot. After living, there is a question, how can this be just a four-star hotel?

After dinner, I drove more than an hour from Salzburg to Lake Wolfgang. It was very late to the hotel. It was the last room. We arrived. The clerk stopped the car for us in the small courtyard. The room key was given to us and refused. Tip, lock the door and leave. The hotel is right by the lake, the breakfast is very rich, the environment is very good and beautiful!

The hotel is so well located. It’s a five minute walk to the cogwheel train that take you up to the mountains for spectacular views. Our hotel room also had a lake view. Each table received a breakfast tower, which was ample and beautifully plated. It’s one of the most gorgeous breakfasts I’ve ever had.

Just a few minutes drive from the town, the home is located on the lakeside, the scenery is pleasant and quiet, it is recommended to choose a room on the upper floor when staying, the breakfast is very good, the restaurant can be dinner price is very friendly, there are ski resorts suitable for two nights .

If you're going on the country to escape the city's heat - and then the roof room is much warmer than the city apartment - then there's something! Even the small ventilator is only noisy and brings nothing. It is so hot that you can only sleep with open balcony door, but the hangs are too thin and not light-density, the sun is shining in the morning and it is dawn. Sleep is no longer possible from around 7 a.m. The kitchenette is located right next to the balcony, making it sound and smells strong to eat. Otherwise the room is very nicely renovated. The bathroom is also halfway OK, only in the shower the shower head does not hold on the bar and to open the window you need to climb into the bathtub. The location is not just the best, the center is about 1km away, the lake is not seen either. The bathing beach is about 500 m walking. There are too few bedrooms, sunscreens and no toilet or shower. There is a completely hygienic manco for so many people! Even in the neighbouring cafe you cannot go, even if you want to drink something you're noticed: only for home guests or you pay entry 6. - Unfortunately the area is totally destroyed by mass tourism! Parking outside the hotel is not enough. However, the food is very good, the staff very friendly and helpful. Small career for this hotel class: use for the use of the room safe and filling the minibar every 30. - Eur and the summit is reached when you consume a bottle of wine at 32. - Eur and then still without notice 1. - Eur extra is charged for a caraffee pipe water. Total conclusion: for more than 300. - Your per night in DZ with half-pension, so already in the higher price class, the price-performance ratio is simply not right here. I expect the price already more, there is still a lot of air up here!

Second stay at Hotel Zimmerbrau - the first being in 2019. An absolute gem of a hotel perfectly located in the center of St. Wolfgang. Spotlessly clean, a breakfast which is the best I have ever had in Europe, free parking, and a private bathing area right on the lake with its own “Honor Bar” refrigerator. I am sure we will be back for a third stay some time in the future. Recommend without any hesitancy whatsoever.

Architektonisch ein Anschlag auf die Augen, von INNEN, nach betreten des Hauses, ändert sich ALLES. Großzügig die Räumlichkeiten, Empfang, Lobby, SPA, ja selbst die Garage und Abstellplatz für die Räder. Das Zimmer modern, im 15. Stock, ein atemberaubender Ausblick, nur zu empfehlen. PLUS: Sehr freundliches, kompetenetes und hilfsbereites Personal, von der Reception bis zum Service an der ”BeachBAR”. Herrliche Liegewiese mit wunderbaren Seezugang. MINUS: Das Abendessen als Internat. Buffet angekündigt, eine kleine Enttäuschung, eigentlich eine bescheidene Auswahl und auch die Präsentation mit Live COOKING habe ich schon deutlich besser und vor allem professioneller erlebt. Aber der echte Tiefpunkt kommt mit der Rechnung, überteuert ist geschmeichelt. PREIS & LEISTUNG stehen hier in keinem auch nur annähernd vernünftigen Verhältnis ... und das obwohl die Qualität der Speisen und Getränke als sehr gut bezeichnet werden kann. FAZIT: Hotelerie & Location TOP, kommen sicher wieder. Aber das Abendessen im Haus in jedem Fall meiden!

Wir sind mit dem Boot aus Strobl zur Strandbar beim Landhaus zu Appesbach angereist, am Steg, hat uns Oberkellner Sir Horst geholfen, das Boot fest zu machen und wir konnten unsere Cocktails an der Strandbar genießen. Für mich ist das eine der schönsten Strandbar am Wolfgangsee? Ich komme sicher wieder.

We lived here 2 weeks and feel very well. Little but beautiful and convenient 1-Zimmer-Appartement in the 1. OG with balcony and perfect sea view in a nice old villa, parking in the courtyard. The staircase is quite unusual, not appropriate and so doesn't suit the claim of the apartment. Kitchen and bathroom very small, but all there you need, including bed linen, towels and toilet paper. All right except on the floor, which could have been cleaner at our arrival (it was probably just sucked), under the bed was next to a lot of dust even waste from the predecessors! House is located on the congestive road towards the Schafbergbahn, always what happens and much to see who has a light sleep should take Ohropax. For this absolutely central and directly to the lake. The house is very quiet, you can't hear the neighbors. Small bathroom, bar and water sports rental as well as boat shuttle to the hotel directly opposite. The walking area and the ”centre” with restaurants etc are available in 2 minutes walk, just as the Rössl Hotel, where you can use the spa area, including towels and bath coats. Spint keys can be borrowed against caution for all the time. It is always very friendly and helpful staff at the hotel reception and in the spa area. Small spa area, not as large as in a clean wellness hotel but completely enough to rest on rain days or after walking. Beautiful sauna with sea view and a beautiful steam bath with a nice rest room. The advice on the correct use of the sauna would be useful because of the many international guests (previously shower, sitting on the towel, without shoes, etc.). Tea and apples are included, also treadboats at the lake. Beautiful sun terrace directly on the lake with beds inside and outside. We have always got a good place. All despite the many visitors clean and ordenly, partly somewhat used in the swimming pool area. We were just swimming in the lake and we could see that almost all bathroom guests went undouched in the hot outdoor pool and the whirlpool - showers are not easy to find below and there are no indications for use (which would be beneficial because of the large international guests - not few wear underwear under the bathroom ...). We have enjoyed buying the small packaging for the location and other benefits.

We spent a wonderful time in the Wolf and Sheep Apartments at the beginning of August as a family. With us our two sons, 12 and 14 years old, traveled and we were all enthusiastic about this accommodation. We were welcomed warmly at our arrival and the positive feeling continued throughout our stay. The apartment itself was clean, modernly furnished and very comfortable. It has nothing missed – the kitchen was best equipped, the beds comfortable and the living area generous. Specially well we liked the view of our balcony, which offered a picturesque view of the surrounding nature. The location of the apartments is also a great plus. We were overwhelmed by the beauty of the surroundings – perfect for long walks, bicycle tours or just for relaxation. Our boys had a lot of fun in explorating the environment, and there were many ways to be active. We enjoyed the quiet and distantness very much, at the same time all important attractions and activities were well reachable. We also want to highlight the hospitality and service that really made our stay special. We felt well around and were able to get outstanding. We are sure we were not the last time in the Wolf and Sheep Apartments. A clear recommendation for families and all who are looking for a perfect mix of comfort, nature and hospitality! Family Jehle
