The property is situated on top with a magnificent view of the Dal lake and the city (though it’s at some distance from the Dal lake). The cottage rooms are good, extremely cozy in the winter months and spacious. The bathrooms are extraordinarily spacious with good quality toiletries. The hospitality is amazing! I would like to extend a special thanks to Mir Ummer, the smart young *** at the reception who left no stone unturned to help us, always with a cheerful smile. Thanks to him, our room got upgraded and I could find my cap even after leaving the hotel. I would also like to thanks Suhail who was ready to prepare and serve us the wonderful kahwah, whenever we would request him. The only reason I am not rating it 5/5 is the room service (it took almost an hour and more than two reminders to get a plate and two bowls delivered to our room.) Still, I would recommend the hotel to all because of the hospitality and politeness displayed by the staff there.

Super top location On hill dal lake view Top hospitality bakery is superb Cafe view is amazing In winter snow is much but location is fantastic even other side is city vie it’s fabulous Rooms n all are fine and above all Taj mesns all clear Good stay

Nestled at the top of the hill overlooking the Dal Lake. Amazing experience right from check in to check out. Restaurant at the hotel Jade Dragon - food was delicious. Breakfast spread - vegetarian was superb. Room was large and spacious ***** with bathroom. Staff was courteous, warm and welcoming. Bhavyansh at Jade Dragon was very helpful and gave some good recommendations.

We had a great time at the Taj Dal View. The lunch was excellent. Owais recommended us some excellent Kashmiri dishes and we completely enjoyed our meal. His service was also spot on. Having come in December, we missed the Dal lake view since it was foggy due to the onset of Chlilla-I-Kalan, but the food and service were nothing to complain about.

We tried thier food and it was amazing. The taste was good as well and overall experience was amazing. I would highly recommend this place. Thier staff especially Imran & Ishfaq were very helpful and thier hospitality is good. Overall I would rate this place 8.5/10. Also the place is quite and peaceful. You can see the whole dal lake from there.
