My husband and I really enjoyed our stay . The room was comfortable and welcoming and the restaurant very good . Above all, the staff were friendly , helpful and courteous. I would definitely stay here again

I stayed at the hotel between 29/06-04/07 for a business trip. The location is very nice and next to some wonderful walking areas. The room was small but nice and I liked the minimalist style. The personnel were very helpful with a strong professional attitude and made my stay very pleasant. I want to thank them all and especially the front desk employees Max and Alysha! For sure I recommend it to others and will choose it again for possible reservations in the future.

I was there at 3.3.-4.3.2023 with a wife and an adult son. In total, 2 rooms already paid by credit card. At arrival we were asked by a clearly over-exigent receptionist to pay the roommaster cash because something doesn't work with credit card billing. And bar please because her own credit card machine doesn't work. Because we were very hurried, our grandchild was just born in Rotterdam, we paid. Two weeks later my credit card was charged 2x!!!!. After massive protests, a burden was reimbursed. But not the cash payment. I have been in telephone and written exchange with the hotel director for 2 months. Although the error was acknowledged in writing and payment promised, with always new excuses the transfer is delayed so the impression has emerged, they want to crush me until I give up nervously. I do not! My report should be a warning, please, not to persuade you to questionable payments on the ground. Obviously, you have incompetent staff and little willingness to solve the problem customer-friendly. I'm now giving it all to a lawyer.

I stayed for just a couple days but I immediately felt involved in the social atmosphere of the Hub! The room was cozy and welcoming, very clean and quiet. The common spaces are great, the food and drinks are nice and always served with a smile. I would really have liked to be able to stay more and fully enjoy the social events and spaces!

The room was very nice, vibrant colors, bed was awesome, all very clean. But the big mistake they made with the renovation were the doors. They slam with a very big bang, so when anyone else on the floor enters the room, it all shakes. And then they are not isolated, you can understand discussions happening outside the room. And then, for the breakfast, dinner, lunch: only christmas music. But of the worst kind. There is no place in the region to escape this in the morning, so you have to deal with the christmas music. And for 17 euro's, it's not even worth actually what you get after your ears are in pain with ”jolly happy christmas” three times during breakfast.

The hotel is a very professional reception team and all the staff in this hotel that I will not hesitate to classify as the best Ibis Styles attended in recent years. It is a very recent hotel, but it is easy to see that it has been designed with very good quality equipment and materials. The decoration (hall, bar, restaurant, rooms) is tastefully made without forgeting the comfort that some architects forget when designing some hotels. Visited for North Sea Jazz festival in July 2022. Hotel is of a high standard throughout. Our room was a standard ”water view” double, and not that big but had all we needed in terms of furnishings and amenities. One tiny gripe of mine, the bathroom has a sliding frosted-glass door, which of course saves space, but doesn't fully close. Bed and bedding all very comfortable. Shower and Air-con easy to regulate. Plenty of lifts (elevators) at all times. Breakfast superb. All staff very friendly and efficient.

We like the location of the hotel. It is in midst of an old town and located along the canal. Close by is a shopping haven but most shops were closed because of the public holiday. The hotel is clean and the deco is modernistic inside with a traditional facet. Breakfast was excellent and the staff is so helpful and friendly. There is car park in front of hotel but limited space.

I honestly don't know how come this hotel has 4 stars. The standard is significantly lower than other 4-star hotels in the Netherlands. The room was dirty and you could see dead insects smashed on the bathroom walls and the window. The AC didn't work so we barely slept. The location is not the most convenient, so I would expect they would compensate with the higher quality considering the price but it wasn't the case. The breakfast was ok. I wouldn't go there again. I think the rating of 4 stars is a scam in this case.
