back door that was next to our room had lost its device so it SLAMMED so hard our room trembled. It happened repeatedly and I thought perhaps someone was blasting in the parking lot but when I went to the desk to check out whether we were in a potentially hazardous situation the staff knew nothing about it. The next morning when loading out the car, I realized what it was and reported it to the desk. The Handyman was also sitting at the desk drinking coffee and he shrugged it off as he knew it wasn't working

There was a roach crawling on the tv shortly after our arrival. The room was non smoking but had a heavy cigarette smell.
The shower and breakfast were exceptional so it was a bittersweet visit but I don’t think we’ll be returning.

The room is clean. Bed not very comfortable. Toilet plugged since our arrival. Bathroom is gery small

The office chair in room had a loose wheel that kept coming out, my husband almost landed on the floor!!
The bed was comfortable and the extra chair with footstool was much appreciated after a long drive.
The breakfast buffet was good but there was no hot water for tea or cereal. You had to ask for juice, yogurt, etc. We prefer to help ourselves, but the attendant was very helpful and polite.

We had no hot water for a shower had to pack up and move down the hallway to another room
Immigrant people standing around in the hallway in groups watching us was very uncomfortable

Breakfast was great! The lady that served during breakfast was the best! Customer Service from check in to breakfast to replenishing towels was excellent! We stay here everytime we go to St. Albans WV to visit family.

Booked this hotel for advertised heated indoor pool. Called 4 days before to confirm pool open. Was told heater was broken and to call back on Thursday. Was told then, part was in and was to be installed that day. Upon arrival on Saturday, pool was freezing cold, and was again told it was to be heated later that day. Pool deck was unheated, cold with heating ducts covered in canvas and not working. Pool was not fixed and was freezing for entire stay. Talked with many guests that booked specifically for heated pool and were unhappy about lack of disclosure. I understand things need repair, but, hotel was not upfront about it to allow guests to make other arrangements. Breakfast staff were wonderful. Friendly, helpful, and courteous. Surprised that bar and grille was CASH only.
