Uptown Brussels Hotel

Centrally located. Large and newly renovated rooms. Friendly and professional stuff. Quick 20 minutes drive to the airport. Only down side is that the aircon control is complicated and uses a separate panel as shown.

Hotel opened without the announced services. To start with the hotel was hard to find as the name is not visible. Upon arrival at 21:00 I got the information that no food was available. No bar, no restaurant and no room service. Breakfast was the bare essentials definitely not up to the standards of the hotel (again dining area was s not ready) The rooms have very bad acoustics (earplugs are provided) not only do you hear sirens the whole night but also the footsteps of your upper neighbors. The Place Rogier neighborhood is really scary and unsafe for a woman traveling alone. Avoid having to go out in the evening. Sad experience for a brand new hotel

The hotel is at the very convenient location, just across the Metro, Rogier, and 5 minutes walk from Brussels North Train Station (one station from the airport). Many restaurants and historic buildings are in 5-10 min walk. The hotel is totally renovated with beautiful modern furniture, paintings and floor. But the hotel has not completed the renovation and the full restaurant is not open yet.

Stayed here 3 nights (May 29 thru June 1). The hotel is a completely redone version of the Sheraton that used to be in this location. The renovation has not been completed, but the hotel is open anyway. Big mistake. They are not ready and I am wondering how the city allowed them to reopen midway through the renovation. The hotel looks more like a work site than an actual operating hotel. Quite distressing indeed, with many parts of the hotel still covered in soot from what seems to be a fire. Other parts are boarded up. The lift kept breaking down. My room was on the 22nd floor and imagine having to go up there by the stairs, or coming down. I used to stay in the old Sheraton here, but the new hotel is a poor version of that old establishment: Cheap furniture. No desk to work on. Poor lighting. The staff is nice. They are mostly young folks with little or no experience. They could not handle any of the issues I experienced, so I stopped trying to avoid embarrassing them. I think a visit from municipal authorities is past due. But I do not recommend staying here.

I had a great two-night stay at Uptown Brussels Hotel. The location is perfect, right in the city center with a beautiful view over Brussels. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was extensive and fresh. I would definitely recommend this hotel for both tourists and business travelers.

Rooms are very spacious clean and nice. Modern, decor. Include everything you could need - fridge, coffee maker, large TV (rotates to be visible from bed or sofa) , comfortable bed. Good service. Very nice gym on 25th floor. Breakfast is good but not exceptional.

Lovely luxury hotel, big spacious room with a roomy bath tub overlooking the outside! Love the big windows and the retro vibe. Nice touch for having the radio and lights on for when we checked in the room :) Friendly staff, and excellent restaurant and bar and roof top bar too :) Location is a little further out - around 30 mins walk to grand place.

The hotel is simply amazing. It opened beginning of the year 2024 so everything is new. The room is spacious, decorated with taste the materials are great and it feels juste like home. The bed was very confortable and the room very tidy! There are 2 hospitals near the hotel and ambulances in Brussels are excessively loud so you might hear them from time to time but to be honest we slept like babies. We slept on 20th floor the view was amazing! The gym is brand new and very nicely furnished there is everything for a good session! The staff was really accommodating we were able to early check in at noon when we arrived. For info it is indeed a Marriott hotel but the fidelity program does not work yet. One small thing to report, the elevators do not match the floor numbers so you might get lost for a second ( 20th floor was 19 for us as an example). Will definitely come back.
