A zen concept hotel. Love the cosy bed and the big TV screen. Clean, neat, friendly staff. Convenient with shops. Ideal place for family. Glitches of disturbances by staff could be avoided. All d best.

Almost every month, i will be staying here. Such a great hotel. Highly recommended to all. Food court is just nearby. Staffs are friendly. You can go to design village which takes around 10 - 15 mins from this hotel. You can also order food from hotel.

Hotel stated at near shop lot. Easy to reached and not far from main road. Reception very friendly and fast. Easy to deal if walk in. Make sure bring complete documentsion.

Arrived @ 4pm and everything was smooth when check in. They provide free parking and the entrance behind the hotel building. Its a multistory carpark. Room was excellent and all was exceptable. We had an enjoyable stay here and will come again in future.

Tried out new concept with M Qube & it turned a pleasant stay. It is clean & well maintained in all areas. You will get all basic that needed after check-in and in your own cube. Locked locker provided also which no need worry your belongings with no where store but suggested for small/medium size only. Great ME-Time spent in own cube. You will have shared bathroom and it is acceptable clean level. Just to watch up that your amenities shower tray will be get wet if using standing rain shower head as it will spill all around. Location ok as there is a food court next to the building and the price is reasonable. I think gotten my second home to stay in whenever visit Penang 😊 Will be back soon!

Everything was fine, no high expectation since it's a budget hotel. Room for improvement for receptionist- they should be trained to be more friendly, warm and welcoming. Both receptionist on duty day and night were cold, unattentive and not friendly at all.

I am really satisfied with my stay this time. From the front desk staff to the restaurant, the security at the door, and the black guy who does the cleaning, they all treat guests very politely and the overall quality is very high.

my husband and i chose to stay here because it is within walking distance to a bridal studio that we were engaged with. it is an average, small room with not much room for walking after we put 2 luggages on the floor. cleanliness is okay. not many tv channels. there is a water station outside our room. shower head water pressure is a little low. the knob (not sure if this is what you call it), which you pull to turn on the water doesnt indicate the temperature but rather the water pressure. if you turn it to your left, the water gets little. ifyou turn it to your right, it comes down in torrents. i find it weird and off bcz that is not how the water knob works. receptionist works almost at a snail-like pace. breakfast is a simple set of eggs and bread in different cooking way. but there is a cafe downstairs which serves better breakfast that what the hotel can offer. however, that will cost more. we paid about RM50 for a breakfast there on our first day. there is a kopitiam nearby, serving local food for breakfast n lunch. we had wantan mee there on our second day which costs only RM10 for 2 pax. hailing rides are easy so you can either rent a car to drive around or just call for Grab.

Stayed at Grand Orient for one night for a business trip, and even though the hotel catered more for families with children (they have an in-house water park, though I did not try it out), I was generally satisfied with my stay. Room: Being relatively new certainly helped them in this regard, as the room's fittings were good and intact and the room itself felt fresh despite not having any windows. Bed and linen were comfortable, and the room was equipped with basic amenities. They provided an ironing board and iron which was a handy addition. Toilet was clean and modern. My only complaint - the toilet had a small tube (most probably for draining air-conditioning condensate water) sticking out of the ceiling directly on top the sink, which dripped water once in a while. Definitely something that needs to be improved on. Also, the room was quite small and felt slightly cramped. Location: Not very conducive, as there are hardly any shops within walking distance. The nearest convenience store would be a petrol station, about a 5-minute walk away. You would have to drive out for food and goods. Staff: Professional and welcoming. No complaints. Conclusion: Even though the Grand Orient had an in-house water park and was more family-oriented, the hotel premises was generally clean. It is probably not well suited for certain target groups, so do bear in mind what your priorities are before considering this place. All in all an ok place, though I may have scored it higher if it weren't for the odd water leak issue in the toilet.

Thihotel is quite new and equipped sophisticated switch bitton.The rooms plug all types of ”touched”, with finding smart toilet, Smart TV, also can watch netflix, apple tv, astro (own acc). Recommend stay here because it's comfortable, clean which is important and friendly staff.  It is recommended for those who come to Penang but don't know where to stay.  Suitable for business travelers as well.
