Family-friendly Hotels in Shaoxing

Had a good and comfortable stay here. Staffs were friendly and helpful. The only drawback is the WiFi connection - not sure why but it didn't work even after the front desk staff helped to register. Had to rely on roaming data which usually gets used up before the day ended. Breakfast was a good spread but I sticked to fruits, green salads, boiled eggs and coffee - trying to avoid as much non-halal as possible. About 15 mins drive to textile city. Fair amount of Arab restaurants around textile city. I'll usually order for takeaway and reheat using the room's microwave.

Got there around CNY eve, so things were a bit on the quiet side. Parking was a bit chaotic at first with cars parked all along the entrance, it was not clear where to park until I went inside and asked. Check in was quick and to my pleasent surprise the checkin agent Gary spoke English very well. He was extemely helpful and and accomodating. He even explained that breakfast would be included because of CNY. The hotel was very clean, room was clean. The hotel is at a very good location, central to many important areas in Shaoxing. Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. Check out was simple and the overnight parking fee was taken care by the hotel. Overall, the hotel has the quality, look and feel that you would expect from a Holiday Inn brand hotel. Would definitely recommend and will rebook in the future. Many families with kids too. Please note if traveling around CNY, certain restaurants etc may be closed for the holiday.

Shaoxing's tourism industry is very mature, and there are many parent-child rooms in hotels. I like hotels named after regions very much. In fact, this duplex family room really satisfies the baby. The garden-style layout gives you a glimpse of Jiangnan as soon as you enter the hotel. The breakfast is rich in variety, the Chinese restaurant tastes good and is cost-effective, and there is no service fee. This must be praised 👍. Although there is no service to deliver luggage to the room, the humanized battery car pick-up will not make people feel inconvenient, and the children still find it fun. Several masters in the concierge department are very enthusiastic. Master Han Wenxiong also introduced picking bayberries. Shaoxing is very good. Shaoxing Hotel is waiting for our next meeting!

Xianheng is a five-star hotel, very close to Lu Xun's hometown and the food street. The hotel room has just been renovated and the settings are very new, but there is a little smell. The waiter brought us two air purifiers, which are louder at night. The hotel waiters are very good and enthusiastic, and everyone's face is full of smiles. Especially the beautiful Miss Sun, she contacted me in advance and added WeChat to upgrade our room. It was very considerate. We booked two rooms and the whole family was very happy to stay! Very satisfied!

Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Good technology. No deposit required. I loved the gown in the room and it's design. The weather was warm. There was enough space to move around and the staff helped me with everything I asked them for.

I booked a 2-night package for a courtyard villa. The room is very close to the restaurant and the old street activity area, which is very convenient. The hotel is like a scenic spot with a good environment. The room is antique, and the hotel's lake is right outside the door, and the ventilation is good. The only drawback is that there is no partition between the bathroom and the bed, and it makes noise when you get up in the middle of the night or when the child is asleep and the adult needs to wash and make something. There is only one quilt. If there are three parents and children living in a big bed, remember to ask the hotel for another quilt. The breakfast is perfect, with everything in Chinese style and good taste. The hotel also has a butler service. If you need a commuter car or want to know the route, you can leave a message on WeChat, and you can basically get a timely reply. In general, the experience is good and worth going again.

Clear and comfortable . Breakfast is good. Personal are suave. Bedding is also quite good. I was there for business trip. Next time gonna go again.

The room is not big, but it has everything you need. It is equipped according to five-star standards, very Shaoxing style, and cost-effective. Compared with Shaofan Xiaoxianheng World Trade Wyndham, this one has a higher cost-effectiveness and I stay there more often. Although the breakfast here is not very varied, it is super delicious, with my favorite Zhuangyuan cake

Caution to foreigners. During my first stay, I encountered a series of bewildering issues. Firstly, the hotel's internal communication seemed to be lost in a labyrinth, leading to a phone call after my reservation, stating uncertainty about accommodating foreign guests and ultimately requesting me to cancel my booking. Seeking assistance from the Travel Company, I navigated through discussions and verifications, only to receive a contradictory assurance from the hotel that foreign guests were indeed welcome. Upon arrival, the front desk manager surprisingly denied our check-in, creating a scene reminiscent of a comedic drama. It took a resolute stance on my part for her to begin processing the check-in, a time-consuming endeavor that left me in a rather disgruntled state for 30 minutes. However, the unsettling surprises didn't end there; the staff's lack of honesty was truly astonishing. Initially reserving a deluxe room, I attempted to utilize my room-upgrade privilege through the travel company, seeking an upgrade to a business suite or other room type. The hotel manager categorically stated that the business suite was unavailable, a claim that vanished into thin air when I later found available business suites on other booking platforms. This lack of integrity left me feeling deceived, thankfully resolved through negotiations with the travel company's customer service, which successfully reinstated my room-upgrade privilege. Breakfast became an unexpected battleground. Despite arriving at 8:50 in the morning, many food options had already been 'captured,' resembling a competitive breakfast marathon. To summarize, the hotel boasts a prime location and satisfactory amenities, yet its service quality falls far short of expectations. For foreign guests, a stay at this establishment may lead to a considerable waste of time and even negatively impact their mood. Consequently, I hesitate to recommend this hotel to fellow travelers, hoping that my experience might provide some assistance.

Ctrip Diamond upgraded the room type for free, but did not agree to give it to a room with lake view. Instead, it gave us a balcony room on the 3rd floor of Zone B with mountain view, which was quite nice. Parking is convenient, with both ground and underground garages, and ground charging piles. We arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock and were immediately given a room. The waiter helped us carry the luggage to the room, which was great. There are many small buildings, and the whole hotel is like a park. The green garden is very good, with birds singing and flowers blooming. The air is very good, with an artificial lake and a white sand beach, a farm, a large lawn, and a canopy. There is a small hill on the hiking trail, and there are some views along the way. We walked the Shangqing Ancient Road the next day and came back to rest for another night. The food is cheap and good, highly recommended, the breakfast is also very good, and there is 24-hour delivery. The downside is the air conditioning. Because the room was stuffy, I turned on the air conditioner for cooling (only cooling and heating), set it to 18, and the indoor temperature was 25, but it was getting hotter and hotter, reaching 28. I called the hotel and they responded that there was no air conditioning and it was under maintenance. They said they could provide fans, but there was clearly a hot air conditioner (I didn't operate it myself, it was just unified heating), so I had to turn it off. Mosquitoes were buzzing at night, and the liquid mosquito coils were colorless and odorless and ineffective. I didn't dare to open the French door because there was no screen door, and I was afraid of more mosquitoes, so I didn't sleep well. The next day I tried the air conditioner again, and the room temperature was 26. I turned on the cooling mode, and it was 27 in a while. I hurriedly turned it off, and it returned to 26 after a while. I went to buy mosquito repellent, and mosquitoes came again at night. I immediately sprayed the mosquito repellent from head to toe, and finally fell asleep all night. So the air conditioner and mosquito problems are the only flaws.
