During the National Day holiday, I decided to take my family to Shangluo for a visit. I saw that this hotel had a relatively high rating on the reviews, so when I went there I found that it was branded as a Starway Hotel. The hotel is not in the city center and there are no restaurants nearby. We can only drive to Wanda to eat. I booked a river view room. The room was quite large and had a small balcony, but there was a strange smell as soon as I entered. It took a long time to ventilate the room before it got better. There is a small park next to the hotel where you can see the Danjiang River. The overall facilities are too old and should be renovated. The sinks are full of mold, the hardware in the bathroom has signs of rust, the carpet is dirty, and the paint on the door is peeling off. Sorry, the procedure for using the shower in the bathroom is too complicated. The most speechless thing was that there was a KTV in the hotel, and there was a man crying and howling at around 9 o'clock until the middle of the night. I didn't sleep well all night, so I decided to check out the next day. What satisfied me most was the breakfast in the hotel, which was very rich and the night view was not bad.

The parent-child suite is 80 square meters with one large bed plus two small beds and two bathrooms🚽 which is indeed quite spacious. The location of the hotel is convenient and the breakfast is quite good. The only drawback is that one of the two TVs is broken.

The environment inside and outside the hotel is good. It is right on the edge of the Danjiang River. The room is very large and has a small balcony to enjoy the river view. Not far from the bus station, self-driving parking is very convenient. The disadvantage is that the general room type does not include breakfast, and there is no place to eat around. It is not convenient to eat and shop, and it is a bit far from the downtown area.

It's a bit confusing to take the elevator. The first and second buildings of the 3 buildings are in the back, and the notices are not easy to read. When checking out by car, you must ask the front desk for a parking ticket, otherwise the doorman will ask you to run back to the front desk to get it (100 meters back and forth). The room is good, but the air conditioner is very confusing and cannot be used.
