I have stayed at other campanile hotels and really like the brand. I booked this one not realizing it is a new branch that is not completely renovated yet, so there was construction still going on. I think it will be nice when it’s done, but may want to want a month or two. Breakfast was not up to the same standard as other branches, but was okay

We stayed here on a weekend trip to Shanghai. A hotel converted to the Campanile brand, it lacked the feel and facilities of the Jing'an and Middle Huaihai Road branches. Room was ok, with the facilties that you would expect - we particularly liked the seating area (although people. Wouldn't be able to watch the TV from here in they wanted) and the stand up desk area would be useful if someone needed to work from here. Location is easy to find and across the road from the Shanghai Stadium metro station and a mall.

The hotel is pretty plain, and they have had to squeeze in all the facilities into a small area on the ground floor. I liked that the lifts were set to be open and welcome people on the ground floor, the corridors were slightly dirty and had an off food smell from somewhere. The room was very elongated, and the bed was squeezed in at the end, but it was comfortable, pretty clean, and comfortable.
Very middle of the road. Not a destination hotel but comfy enough, near restaurants, allows deliveries directly to the door, and near where we wanted to be.

The hotel is newly decorated, functional in its design and practical . The personel speak no English however with translations app so everything runs smoothly . Staff is customer minded . Good location down town beside a rather big shopping mall with dessert cafeteria etc. Overall experience is very positive. Close to subway as ultimate advantage.

I needed to be near the swimming centre so the location was great for this but on the whole it's a little far away from the action which is a shame as the room itself was lovely.
