I am used to great hospitality, I am from Malaysia, but staff from Comfort Inn exceeded our expectation. They went above and beyond regular service when they had to evacuate our things while we're still conferencing. The care and mindfulness of their housekeeping staff was truly commendable. I recently stayed in one of the Villas and checked out on April 29. We were three friends traveling together, celebrating my birthday, I was very disappointed. The hotel was very understaffed. I had a few bad experiences with one employee, whose name was Christina. The first time, my friends and I ordered lunch at the pool bar. We were given a number that clipped onto the table. The number was not facing out directly, but on a slight angle. Christina came up to us with a plate of food, that was not ours, and in a nasty tone said, ”How can I see the number if it's not facing me”. After we finished lunch, my two friends went to the bar to settle the bill. They were standing there waiting to pay the bill and Christina was just ignoring them. Then my friend, Larisa, said something like “can I pay?” and Christina just kind of looked at her and rolled her eyes and said you should’ve said what you wanted. Then Larisa asked her why she had an attitude, and Christina got very defensive and said, ”I do not have an attitude, you have an attitude.” And Larisa reminded her of what happened at the table with the number and that you should never argue with customers, but she was still very defensive. And then after a while, just said she was sick. When we were at the pool, we noticed that all of the cabanas were unoccupied. We called the number that was on a chain and asked what the cost was. We were told by Margaret that it was $200.00. We offered $100, and Margaret said ”We would never accept that amount.” The next time we had a run in with Christina was while my friend and I were waiting at the Starbucks counter for at least 10 minutes. Christina walked past us several times and not once asked if we could be helped. I finally asked if we could place an order, and she responded in a very nasty tone, ”You have to wait in line.” We then stood in line and placed our order. I ordered a Grande Americano. She made a tall Americano. I told her the order was wrong, and she proceeded to argue with me ”That is what you ordered”. She changed the coffee to a Grande, and we sat at a high-top table to eat. While sitting at the table, we noticed that the food and beverage manager passed us, so we stopped him to tell him of our experience. Jeff told us that Christina was on our way out, and at her last review she was disciplined due to her attitude. I also mentioned to Jeff that we offered $100 for a cabana rental and Margaret said no. He told us he would buy a round of drinks at the pool bar and offered us a cabana on Sunday. When we went to speak to Jeff on Sunday to get a cabana, he first told us to take any one. Then he said ”No, they are sold, take number 4”. Well Jeff lied to us. No other cabana was occupied that day. Several employees did stand out though with exceptional service. Will who worked at the front desk. Justin at the pool bar; always polite and with a smile on his face, no matter how crappy his

Surprised at how good our stay was. Sometimes trip advisor 5 star recommended hotels are good for the price -we’ve seen courtyard and Hampton inns that are 5 stars. This was a very good hotel at any price point. We had a clean modern beautiful room with garden patio. We ate at both restaurants and both we great. The bar was hopping, the golf course full, pools had cabanas and loads of seating. The fitness center offers multiple free classes each day. The hotel is super dog friendly- my dog got a doggie bed, bowls, treats and poop bags as a welcome amenity. The reception staff and valets were efficient and courteous. The hotel’s guests were nicely dressed and respectful. Loved it, sorry to leave.

10/10- I loved everything about this hotel. Redone midcentury that has amazing staff, daily maid servie and a banger of a pool. The location was perfect for shopping, hiking and restuarants. Great touches such as fruit water in the lobby, replensihed water your room daily, in room coffee for those who need a coffee before venturing out. Did not end up eating but used my hotel credit on a couple of poolside drinks- they hit the spot. This is my go to for a mini trip to Phoenix.

The Hyatt House hotel in Old Town Scottsdale is a fantastic place to stay if you are traveling with kids or another couple. We stayed in room 1013 which has two full bedrooms with king beds, separate bathroom and shower and a large tv. The communal area contains another large tv, sofa sitting area, breakfast table and full size kitchen with a full size fridge, stove etc. The hotel also has a nice pool and hot tub and is a five minute walk to the Old Town area which has several restaurants and bars. There is plenty of self parking available and a great free weekend breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Carlos and Ronnie! We will definitely stay here again!

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days at the start of our holiday. We were very pleased with the service in this hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Gema, Liz and Margie who made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for them. It was our Golden Wedding Anniversary while we were there and the staff secretly put Prosecco, chocolate coated strawberries and a congratulations card in our room. We were very touched by this kind gesture. Our suite was very nice. The food in the restaurant/bar was excellent. A nice surprise was the outdoor pool area which was spacious and well maintained. All in all we would recommend this hotel. Thank you Scottsdale Old Town Marriott. From Dr Steve and Sue Lloyd ( Wales, UK)

Our stay was very pleasant. Family vacation for seven days. The staff were friendly, and helpful with information regarding the area. Room was clean and additional supplies and cleaning service provided when requested.
Would have preferred variety in breakfast selection. Breakfast was not bad. There was fruit some days and some days not. The entire seven days we stayed they offered bacon only on one day. It would have been nice to offer half bacon and half sausage as daily options. Grateful for hot breakfast none the less.
Workout room was enjoyable. Overall good stay.

If you want to be degraded, discriminated and practically kicked out of your room for having a service animal, stay here..Holiday Inn, and the GH Keton(which of whom i have been trying to get a hold of him all week, with NO luck) should be ashamed how they let Wayne(the front office manager) speak and treat guests. Im sure I wasnt the first and wont be the last, as long as they keep allowing him. Checked in December 10th around 10:30pm, I told clerk that I had a service animal and he said ”OK No Problem”.. We decided to go get dinner before going into the room, came back around 11:15 and when I was walking into the hotel Wayne stops me with a pinch of attitude and a unmannerly tone and says ”Can I help you?Oh wait, is that a service animal?” I said ”Yes” then he proceeds to ask ”hold on right here, i need to check in my system if there is note of that” (after a lot of typing) he proceeds to tell me ”there is nothing in the system, but why is your dog a service animal?” I said ”I suffer from severe anxiety, I do have a his paperwork” he then bitingly asks me ”what does he do for you, that you so need a service animal?” I said, I provided paperwork to the clerk when checking in, I also called the hotel prior to completing the reservation asking them if they took Service animals, and they said Yes”. He said ”we legally cannot see any paperwork provided, and I have been trained to handle these type of situations but it comes out to, YOU can stay here but not the DOG, seems what you have is a PET not a Service Animal”(like if he knew or if he was a doctor). After Wayne proudly waived at me his very used and revised ADA papers over and over again, He said my Dog couldn't stay with me and he said he wouldn't allow me back in, I proceeded to tell him that I wasn't going to be paying for a room HE wasn't allowing me to stay in, he said I was still going to be responsible for the room I never even stepped a foot in. I am an IHG member, and this experience was nothing but discusting, humiliating and discriminating. Mind you it was 50° and it was 11:15PM, I had to find another hotel room! Other guests did try to intervine and told Wayne what he was doing was against the law, asking me all those specifics, he proudly once again flagged his revised ADA papers and argued with other guests as well. Wayne lacked empathy and it seems he lost his costumer service skill and has been allowed to treat others with disrespect..

Outstanding
A colleague and I popped over from the Courtyard property that is adjacent. We had dinner and drinks. Terrific food, and even better service. Alan was top notch on service and suggestions on what to get. Will definitely be back!! If you’re considering this property it’s a great choice, and be sure to go see Alan for great food, drinks, and service!
Nice modern, quiet property. We moved here after a bad experience in the Old Town area of Scottsdale and although a ways away from the shopping and dining areas of central Scottsdale, it offers a quiet, comfortable stay. Only downside during this stay is almost every food item wasn’t available - apparently they are changing the menu. Not really acceptable because there are no other restaurants nearby without driving. We wanted a light dinner without leaving the hotel. Plenty of on street parking if you don’t want to pay for parking.
Have just spent nearly 2 weeks in this hotel and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were very clean with everything you would need and the pool area was also well kept and was never too busy and had pleasant background music. Thank you to Breanna the Manager for her assistance with a few minor issues we had at the beginning of our stay. The hotel restaurant The Desert Pony was excellent, we had a delicious breakfast there every morning. All the team are great! Special thanks to our server’s Naja & Alan who looked after us so well!
Before arriving, I called the front desk when I noticed there was a slight error on the dates. Since I was there for a conference, the clerk gave me the name and number of the person with my organization who was coordinating the trip. I contacted the person using the info he gave me, and received no reply. Upon further investigation, this person was not affiliated in any way with my organization. No problem. Mistakes happen! I got it sorted out by bypassing Fairmont. When I arrived, I was given a dirty/used room in the G building. I called the front desk to request a ride back, since I had my luggage and it's not a short walk. That ride was never sent. So I walked back and retrieved a key to a clean room. The front desk credited $100 to my room account for the inconvenience and hassle. When I got to the new room, the key didn't work..... The hot water did not work in my shower, but I didn't want to change rooms again. (This is my fault, of course, but do you blame me?) I have a picture and video of the water pressure if anyone is interested. When I checked out, there was no $100 credit on my statement (of course). I receive much better treatment at a Hilton. Not sure how they maintain a five star rating.
SSeaside05356751565The Scott is beautifully designed with a chic, tropical vibe that makes for the perfect getaway. It was an ideal spot for a relaxing girls’ weekend! A highlight of our stay was the amazing spa experience. I had the best facial and the spa itself was beautiful. The resort was also an easy walk to Old Town Scottsdale and nearby shopping. We walked into town and adventurously took a Waygo home - a very futuristic driverless car experience! While the food was delicious, the service at the restaurant and Cabana Club could use some improvement. We found ourselves waiting quite a long time for our orders. The Club may have been short staffed as we had to put in our own drink orders at the bar as servers didn’t come around, and glasses were left unattended around the fire pit area, which detracted a bit from the ambiance. All in all, though, the inspiring design, relaxing atmosphere, and incredible spa made it a wonderful stay.
996163Once you finally can find the building, the ‘condo’ is modern & clean with outstanding amenities (although for a $20/day fee) Good: Condo is well supplied for short visits: - TV with Netflix etc & sound system. - Washer & Dryer. - Rooftop lounge and sitting area, nice gym - Beautiful swimming area with bbq's. - Clean modern condo with big patio Not so Good; - no patio chairs - no pool towels - not sound proof - smell of **** in hallways and comes in through your windows. - parking costs $25/night - get ready to walk miles to find your unit. Massive building with / elevator areas and a fire escape that we used to go to rooftop and pool floors. Bad: - Impossible to find. Apple Maps takes you elsewhere (other side of Mercedes dealership but condo on next road). Google gets your there to the back but you have no idea where you are. The problem is the building is in a horseshoe and the back faces the main road w/o any signage or addresses. Brutal! If you arrive after hours - you would be out of luck. - Pool area is beautiful but has glass doors that you can easily walk through. A kid running would break their neck. -Only 2 elevators and one fire escape that we used to access rooftop (5th) and pool and social/games area (2nd) -This is not Old Town Scottsdale. be prepared to walk 15 minutes.
GGuest UserThis is our go to place for our annual staycation during the summer. It's a wonderful resort. They have wonderful pools. They also have an ”adult only” pool if you want to relax away from the kiddos. To add to our wonderful experience was the Bird Man from Liberty Wildlife. On the 4th of July he had Aurora, a huge beautiful female bald eagle. You are able to take a picture with Aurora and as she is lifted up behind you she spreads her gorgeous wings! On other days he might have a hawk or an owl. The live band in the pm was fun too! The picture I posted here of the Bird Man is from Google. The eagle he is with is beautiful, but not Aurora. 💜
GGuest UserThe staff was very friendly the rooms were clean and they were very accommodating I was very fortunate to be able to be helped by Katie at the front desk she was very accommodating when I requested a room with a hot tub because previous night they were not available. And a bonus I was right next to the pool. Definitely will come back!
