Big bed and comfortable large room with bad odorants, gentle staff, I stayed blocked in the lift, the room was repaired after 3 days was a suite. Good breakfast. The hotel is wonderful as a structure but it is completely out of service, it seems they are waiting for a new buyer to rebuild it all. The kitchen is abandoned, use only for breakfast, restaurant with spectacular room and panoramic terrace almost abandoned to the spot. Bars not available , they put a free 24-hour coffee machine in the lobby .... Very serious that they forced me to pay 8 nights immediately with credit card before seeing the room, In fact, after 2 days I would have left but they would not have paid back ....... No hotel in my life has asked me for an advance payment at Check-in for 8 nights, it can happen for one night. I advise not to go if it is not restructured.

We booked this hotel not knowing much about it from the U.S. we are staying 19 days and it is a wonderful hotel. The people are very nice and professional. The room is very basic like we were looking for and very clean. The breakfast has a great variety of breads and fruit with eggs and sausages. The coffee is very good with a wide variety. I would recommend this to anyone that doesn’t need a fancy place to stay with great service and clean rooms. Thank you Hotel Litau for a great stay.

Excelente apartamento, por um preço bem razoável. O apartamento tem tudo o que é necessário para passar 5 ou 7 dias. Uma sala ampla com kitchenette, varanda com uma mesa e cadeiras com vista para a marina, televisão por cabo com uma excelente imagem duma TV LG de 55 polegadas OLED. Quarto excelente, cama bem espaçosa, colchão perfeito. Toda a casa tem ar condicionado e WI-FI. Por fim o carro fica estacionado numa espaçosa garagem subterrânea do prédio. Apenas chamo a atenção que a imagem que o sistema coloca destes apartamentos, não corresponde à realidade. O nome correto destes apartamentos é ”Troia Residence - Apartamentos Marina”, situado na rua da Aroeira, na rua da GNR.

Lovely looking new hotel, clean and nicely designed. Baby cots provided are beautiful and the kids toiletries kit is so cute! The river view rooms are definitely the ones to go for, do not book the Deluxe Suite as you will pay premium and not get the beautiful view shown on the marketing pictures. Neither will you have any balcony to speak of, but instead a tiny ledge with no space for outdoor furniture and with the door that gets stuck and is really hard to open. The pictures online on the room types are misleading as they show both the view and lovely balcony with outdoor seating to enjoy it from. There’s also no minibar or room safe in this room. There is a lovely pod coffee machine, however after you use the first 2 pods you need to pay €1 per each pod. There’s lots of other little things too which I’m not going to into detail, like breakfast not ready at advertised time, room not cleaned properly with bins not emptied, rooftop bar barely being open etc. It’s a shame as I really wanted to like this hotel as we have just moved to the area and was hoping to find a good place to recommend to visitors, but unless these teething problems are sorted out I would be hesitant to.

Location is wonderful, and so is the whole building and surroundings. But comparing price/quality there is really something missing. We spent 3 nights in weekend High season, but there was no management at all.We had to wait more than 3 hours before we could have our room, although we send a mail to ask for an earlier check in than 16.00. Not possible, we have to waited till 16.15 . We have been in many 5 stars places all over the world, but never had this situation. Thanks to Mr Joao de Sousa we we're calm down. He treated and helped us later with everything, and that made our stay good. Our superior terras room was located perfect, clean and cool, but the decoration is for that price some dated. The bathroom very small and not really comfortable. In the adults pool only three umbrellas, to protect all the guests from the sun. sunbeds we're not very clean, and the pool towels, is really not done, in a 5 star Hotel member of the Leading hotels of the world. The quality of the breakfast was 3 stars, only 2 sorts of unripe fruit, and no fresh bread at all. We have had diner several times, at the fantastic Terras outside, but please put mores covering to protect people for the extreme sunburning. quality of the food was good, specially my fish was perfect prepared, and again I say, the very kind service of Mr Joao, David, and several other members of the restaurant was really touching. They did their job more than fantastic. So overall, the place has so many strong assets, location, building, history, surroundings, but some for us important details we're missing, and the feeling that there was no management to talk with, but the location is Portugal on it's best! The hotel is beautiful. Rooms are very clean and well furnished. The staff does a very good work: always available, and welling to provide the best service. The restaurant À La Carte is very good. Thé location is perfect very close to the beach and the marina.

You get what you expect, but sometimes it gets exceeded. We booked this nice hotel by chance. Due to Corona we were unable to go to Spain, instead we had to look for an alternative and luckily we found this great hotel! Honestly, I think we found a better place instead of Mallorca and the only time we got disappointed was when we realized: time is over, we have to go back home. The new hotel offers all comfort you are looking for. Despite of the fact that the amazing rooms are spacious and full of high quality materials, also the hotel ground is carefully designed. The beds are cozy, all is clean and the room-service is perfect. Each room has a minibar with reasonable prices. Enough storage space is given. The shower works perfect, also inside of the bathroom you have enough space to put your stuff in. The room itself is sound-proof except the doors. If there is some noise outside you might hear it until people are gone into their rooms. However, that is the only point of critics. The restaurant is also spacious and you feel cozy while having a lunch or dinner, the swimming pool is huge and also nice designed. There are also enough sun-beds and umbrellas. All dishes can be eaten on the terrace and lounge area close to the pool. Wherever you are, the Wi-Fi Connection is working perfect and really fast. The breakfast is great! Nothing to complain about. Fresh juices, warm dishes either from buffet or a la minute can be ordered. Due to Corona the buffet is not accessible by you but you get served from the absolute friendly staff. These guys (ladies and gentlemen) do a great job to make you feel comfortable and cozy. A warm welcome was given to us at the reception when we arrived the first day. It continued each day when we met someone else from the staff. We also loved it to have a private chat with them from time to time. Thanks also to the lady who we kept busy providing us a table outside on the terrace at breakfast time each morning. Even the tables and chairs were wet each morning she took care that we got a dry one. Even on rainy Thursday morning she expected us with a welcome “I was waiting for you …” - with a big smile on her face knowing quite well we would not sit outside when it is raining – *lol*. Conclusion: great hotel, great staff, great style. Perfect place and a strong recommendation from us to visit this hotel!

We were quite disappointed about the experience, all was ok but nothing was quite right Check in : the desk can’t cope with the number of people at the time , as usually are families the situation gets quite noise , large and tedious, be prepare to access any time after 16,30..... Bed mattress need to be replaced, the have a long live Bathroom is a mystery how to get out hold the bath not having to jump over the vanities !! Location and view is a plus , if you book for sea apartment view !’ As mentioned , quite basic , under expectations for sure !!

Breathtaking location with magnificent views of the Setubal peninsula. One of the best Pousadas of Portugal. A ”must-stay”. Very professional service and superb service. Great room at moderate price. Excellent breakfast.

Also below CV19-Bedingungen I expect a hotel that adheres to the facade with four stars to a lot more. Every morning the same processes, coffee in ToGo cups in a paper bag together with a apple and wooden knife, incrusted ”sandwich” in alufolium with always the same coating ( disk cheese disk cooks******e dry without butter). With some luck it managed to not shake the coffee and everything is dry. But this a piece of fruit is now beautifully warm. Or it's all swept and the day and breakfast is ”saturated”. No trace of a table, a normal cup, a normal beet etc. Eating from the hotel kitchen is unfortunately not worth the price. Carpaccio is beautifully made and fully frozen in the middle, so fresh is different. The hamburger on the one hand is “mini” and in the dry bread that falls out when looking (13€) are a joke, unfortunately not funny. Bach now several stays, forcefully as everything else is closed, I will change immediately as soon as alternatives are available. Hotel itself is clean new and modernly furnished, but dues is destroyed by the circumstances described above DANGER!!!!!
