A relatively distinctive castle hotel with a long history, unique architecture and rich breakfast. The national park next to it is suitable for hiking. You can walk or ride to the beach or various swimming lakes. It is very suitable for leisure and parent-child travel.

It was a pleasure to stay at Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg. This is a stunning building with a fascinating history. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were outstanding and very informative about the history of the building and also the local amenities. The hotel menu wasn’t to our taste so we walked down to a little pub/bar operation which is just a pleasant 10 minutes stroll away. It’s called Brasserie Hoeve Duin en Kruidberg and could be a good alternative for an evening meal. There is a little train station a short walk away which takes you to Haarlem within 10 minutes costing about £5 return. All in all, a very pleasant place to stay.

Great location, magnificent environment and super service! Late check in was flawless, bedding very good and breakfast was delicious.

We had a great time here, it was a one night stay and the amenities were lovely however for the price (€204) the room was rather small.

The staff was extremely professional and courteous. The facilities stunning and well taken care of! The rooms spacious and the breakfast one to remember. Within walking distance from train station and grocery stores and pharmacies.

Everything was excellent! Breakfast was delicious with every detail thought of in the preparation of food choices. We rented bikes for the day and explored all over the national park. Finding Brederode Castle was an extra delight. We felt like a king and queen for our stay.

Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in! The hotel lobby area alone is absolutely first class with an incredible retro charm of an old castle! The restaurant offers top class catering with incredibly friendly service! An absolute recommendation for those who love dignified accommodation and first-class gastronomy! Many thanks for the incomparable ambience!

Everything was perfect! Nice room with the lake view, amazing dinner, great spa facilities, very tasty breakfast to the room and of course very friendly and qualified personnel! Thank you for excellent service we will definitely come back!

A magnificent Hotel in beautiful surroundings, everything was quality, Bedrooms were spacious and beds superbly comfortable, Had lovely walk around the lake and enjoyed the peace and serenity of the Countryside. Did not eat in for Evening but fully enjoyed big choice of a fresh breakfast.

We had an excellent stay at this attractive hotel set within stunning grounds. Being able to walk out and enjoy the pleasures of the National Park directly from the hotel was amazing . The public rooms are opulently decorated in country house style with many comfortable areas to sit. The restaurant was a real pleasure with pretty place settings, delicious food and wonderful waiting staff! Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Our room, in the annexe, while pleasant, was a little dark, overlooking a perimeter wall and forest beyond. Overall, a very pleasant stay; it was the staff that made this hotel so special .

Beutiful interieur, excellent breakfast also serving gluteen free products. We were satisfied with the sauna area, finally a place where no obligation to be naked. Haarlem city and sea shore 15 minutes away. We would also come back in the summer.

It’s a very pretty and noble Hotel, especially you like the historic charme and want to feel like a princess. Unfortunately half of the wellnessarea was closed, that was very pity. But all in all the visit was definitely worth it.

The location and overall hotel experience is exceptional. Beautiful historic building with comfortable rooms, superb beds, very quiet and restful and overall very reasonable value for the money considering the very high quality of everything
