In fact, the whole thing is okay, the staff is nice, and they are all smiling when they see you.
The facilities are good, there is a jacuzzi.
The breakfast is delicious. I suggest you book it. In fact, you can’t find something to eat in the morning. Maybe I don't know how to find it, but the location is actually good. It will be more convenient if you rent a car, and there are shuttle buses everywhere.
But there are so many mosquitos in the rock room LoL

We had an incredible stay at Athina Luxury Suites! We were here for part of our honeymoon and everything was so perfect. From the balcony breakfasts to the massages to the infinity pool and pool bar, it really was a dream. Walkable to town and transportation services available to everywhere else on the island. And porter services are a must with all the steps! Our room was beautiful and clean and comfortable to stay in and we would definitely stay again and recommend to others! Thank you to everyone who is apart of the Athina Luxury Suites team!

We are so happy with had the opportunity to meet our Hostess Arestides he was above and beyond exceptional. He was helpful and he was able to get our transportation to the airport the correct time. Also, any restaurant reservation he was able to take care that for us and suggested great restaurant by the area by calling the restaurant I making sure we get a table with a nice view. He was very nice explaining everything to us when we arrive to the hotel and show us all the highlights of the island the best beaches and places to go. We felt safe and happy everything we will go to the front desk, and he was there to assist us. I can't thank you enough for all you time and hospitality. we are so happy we stayed there. The staff were so friendly, the rooms were immaculate. It was so peaceful and safe. I loved our pool right outside of our room 101, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is not too far from the center to Fira by walk about 7 minutes. Thank you again Arestides and the entire Staff.

While listed as a two star hotel, I would more accurately rate it as a five star cave hotel. What a beautiful view, comfortable room, and attentive staff. We spent 5 nights here (on our last as I type). We received an upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi. It was WONDERFUL, and a very pleasant surprise. Costas and Faye, along with the rest of the staff strive to please, and have great recommendations for both dining, and activities. The highlight of our trip was the catamaran cruise. While not inexpensive, worth every penny. Every morning when I walked out on our balcony, we continued to be amazed with the view . Breakfast each day on our balcony was fabulous. So glad my wife chose this hotel after reading previous recommendations. You will be pleased to stay here.

It was a romantic balcony, and it was an accommodation with all three views. If possible, we recommend booking a room with a balcony. As soon as I arrived, they gave me welcome wine haha. The breakfast was also delicious. Greek style~~
There's a very large bottle of bottled water in the refrigerator. Thanks to that, when the water didn't work, I washed my face with that bottled water. (The next morning, the electricity went out and the water didn't work, but I don't know if it was like that originally or just the day I stayed. Just in case, take a shower and sleep the night before.)
The view is really pretty. I sat on a chair and looked at the view for a while and basked in the sunlight. I think it would be nice to sit in the evening as the weather gets warmer. If I ever come to Santorini again, I will book this place.
It also explains which tourist attractions are good to visit, which restaurants are delicious, and what routines are good. If you have a lot of luggage, you can also get a pick-up service to the airport for 30 euros. It's difficult to move with a long carrier. (I brought a backpack, so I just took a local bus that costs 2 euros.. haha)
The attached photos are all taken at the accommodation. It wasn't taken well on a cloudy day, but it was really pretty :)

Thank you, Renta and staff, for a memorable stay in Santorini. I had some doubts about the suites’ location overlooking the Caldera and the climbing that might be required, but the hotel is easily accessible with lovely gentlemen who take your luggage down to your room and pick it up when you are ready to leave. The accommodations are roomy, well appointed, and have an incredible view of the sea. We had our own patio where we could eat an ample breakfast delivered every morning. On these same mornings when we were very lucky, a parade of donkeys and one mule would clop by the path near the hotel, carrying materials to nearby sites. Of course our stay in November meant that many restaurants and shops in Imeroviglia were closed, but Fira is nearby. Renta will call Nico to give you a ride into town. Both of them are so gracious and accommodating that we very much enjoyed our stay. Following Renta’s advice, we took the catamaran tour of the Caldera, a must for seeing the Caldera from the sea. The plus side of Santorini in November is a complete lack of crowds. Our weather was sunny and in the seventies every day, which may have been a Greek anomaly but perfect for us. I highly recommend the Aqua Luxury suites and staff.

Hotel with spectacular views of the Santorini caldera. The pool and hammocks are acceptable and with good views. However, the room very outdated, the water from the shower leaked into the room. It urgently needs a reform because it is not adequate for the price you pay for the room. It was offset by the incredible views of the room and the hotel that allowed you to watch the sunset and enjoy a luxurious panorama of Santorini. The breakfast is quite mediocre but you have no choice as there are no other options around.

Since my one week stay in Oia with Amaya, I have been debating what my review would be. Here is where I weight out: 1. I would NOT stay at this brand / group again 2. It might be a risk if you manage to get 50% off the price as I did. But I would have been angry to have paid more 3. With the exception of the property manager, the onsite staff tried hard within the confines of what they had 4. At one point, these cave villas were probably as good as they could get. But with so much modernization, there are just too many better properties than these dated villas 5. The location is absolutely stunning. Getting the chance to stay in a MODERN white cave villa is like a bucket list item. So, here is the deal. I chose a week, in January – the VERY off season, because I wanted quiet and to return to Santorini. A big travel company offered this place at a very big discount. I jumped at the chance. What I experience, was a villa that was in a stunning location. And with a very stunning view. But the management of the villa. And the modernization of the villa is just not good enough anymore. WHAT I LIKED: - There was a attendant names “Vali” who was very helpful and responsive, despite the manager not being responsive. (Note to anyone staying here. You are SIXTY STEPS down the hill to your villa. You definitely need an attendant to help with luggage. Vali was marvelous. But if you have knew or other health problems, be aware that this is not an easy place to get up / down on. - The view was amazing. - But be aware that you are in the path at sunset to Sunset point. It becomes quite busy on your little path at that time - I am a cat lover. Be aware there are hundreds of cats near the villa. If you leave your doors or windows open – they do come in. Most are cautious. But you have to be comfortable with cats – or forever keep your windows doors closed. - The daily breakfast was marvelous. The person who cooked it and delivered it was attentive. She made generous breakfast that was delicious. The location, at the very near end of OIA was quiet WHAT I DID NOT LIKE: - The good news about booking in January is that 97% of the tourists have gone away. You really have the area to yourself. But – the flipside is that during this low season, there is a ton of renovation happening. In the day, when you want quiet and sunshine, you are getting drilling sounds. Hammering sounds. And a lot of local workers making improvements. You won’t get this in mid to high season – but this was not enjoyable. - The manager just was not professional. It began when a note was sent out, encouraging you to make a reservation with them for the transport from the airport. Ok. It sounded like a good idea. She promised a “reliable and very professional” service. For a price that I would learn is about double the price of others who will do the same on the island. I arrived to the airport. No sign. No transport. Everyone from the plane had left, and I was left. I eventually was able to reach

GGuest UserOur second stay in Santorini and wanted somewhere away from heavy tourist footfall. This villa offers different bedroom capacities which are all separate with en suite facilities. Beds are comfy and not too hard. Breakfast is ordered the day before. Our suite was the highest level and afforded beautiful views across the Calder a. Our hot tub was fantastic and everywhere very clean. Walking into the little village of Akrotiri takes about 12 - 15 minutes and is steep in places but there is a path. There are local restaurants and two good quality supermarkets there as well as a pharmacy and bus stop to access the island. Bus fares are 2 euros. Therapy is a 20 minute bus ride away with stunning views en route. The service and attention we received from Marialena and her colleague during our 4 night stay was excellent. Some nights we didn't want to go out but enjoy our room and hot tub. Marialena sent us menus from local restaurants that delivered and we ordered through her. Fantastic stay thank you Summer Lovers and Marialena.
LLauraoooooHill Suites was better than we could’ve imagined. While the rooms were beautiful and clean, and location was perfect, the real star of the show was Marco (like many of the reviews before have said). Marco made us feel like old friends from the second we arrived. He is the most devoted host you will ever meet and has a great recommendation for anything you may need while in Santorini. Our stay was so wonderful that we intend on coming back every year to stay at Hill Suites. Thank you Marco for a wonderful stay and please keep in touch 😊
GGuest UserLia was amazing! She is so friendly and helpful. If you ever want to hire a reliable employee with great customer service skills, look no further, Lia is your answer. My stay at Rocabella has been wonderful. When I arrived, Lia told me they had a special surprise for me…that my room was upgraded. I couldn’t believe it!
The daily housekeeping was great, they cleaned and tidy the room like I had not been there the night before. The breakfast options were unbelievable and delicious. You order your breakfast over the phone and the kitchen will deliver to your room within minutes. I was there late February, so it is not as busy as the summertime. So, things might be different during busy season. I will definitely recommend Rocabella to any of my friends and families that are going to Santorini.
AAndylengxiaoxueA very beautiful hotel with excellent service. The hotel staff were very enthusiastic. When they learned that I was bringing my children, they changed me to a super large suite for free. It is the most recommended place in Santorini.
This hotel was recommended to us by our travel agent in the UK. As we have never been to Greece and I’m incredibly disappointed and upset also out of pocket by €1500. They know my wife and I have 2 teenage children aged 15/17 The website stipulates captions say that this is a “suite” and has a living area. (See below) but our “suite” was actually just one room (visible in the pictures, but the caption is misleading!). The two extra beds are just a thin mattress placed in top of a stone plinth and the so called beds are in a L shape far too small for two teenagers. It’s just one square room with a double and these two mattresses. From the website: Superior Suite Traditionally decorated suite, up to 4 persons, spacious private terrace, a/c, LCD TV, satellite TV, mini fridge, shower amenities, kettle, living area, ideal for couples and families. The Executive Suite room has two exhaust fans - one the the shower and separately another in the toilet. When the lights with exhaust fans are switched on, the whole room stinks of sewerage. The bathroom doesn’t have a door at all, nor does the shower, it is very inconvenient for two and even worse for four. Also the door which access to the bathroom could not close correctly, not nice for people going in toilet and you can hear everything. The suite has bugs my wife’s legs had bites after sitting on the bed in the room while I was arguing with the owner. Not at all hygienic. There were no proper places to place four suitcases. The “suite” was extremely noisy as it’s in a main road on an incline so busses, scooters and quad bikes are roaring up the hill constantly. The website also stipulates there is a villa unit which I asked to upgrade to and was willing to pay but the owner said it doesn’t exist ! False advertising. The website showed a pool but the photos are misleading as the pool was tiny. Our entire experience was ruined due to the owners attitude. I complained about these issues first to the travel agent in the UK who told me to speak to the receptionist which we did, returning from town immediately. She was very kind. However the owner suddenly bowed up and reversed her decision to refund us about these issues, he flatly refused to refund me. He became very angry and argumentative, totally unprofessional and rude. He shouted at me and made no effort to help me find another hotel. I was so stressed and upset. (I’m 65 years old) We never checked in and called around to find another property for 4 nights and the owner kept my money over €1000 which I intend to take up with the travel agent who booked this property for me. What made matters worse was they the receptionist was very kind and told me and my wife before the owner arrived we would have to pay of one night and that the owner would refund the balance. He told me after that she has no authority: I quote from the owner’s FB messenger text to me: “The girl from the reception has no idea, I am the one who takes the decisions
GGuest UserThere are a lot of mosquitoes at night.
The landlord is very nice and welcoming.
The breakfast is very rich and the location is good.
It is next to the Blue and White Cathedral, 5 minutes walk.
It is cost-effective. Overall good
NNR~Great stay near the centre. Good location, everything is just within walking distance, groceries, cafes, bakery, restaurants and food is everywhere near.
Room is very cosy, spotlessly clean & spacious.. Reception/ check-in was swift/efficient. I managed to get my rest and slept well, the bed is very comfortable.
I recommend this to anyone who loves to be conveniently located within centre of Fira.
Great local bakeries: EROTOKRITOS , MYLONAS, ZOTOS
Cafes : STOA, VALES, COFFEE CLUB, GRAFFITI
Great restaurants/ Taverns: KOKKALO, FAGITO, KYRA NIKH, PELICAN ,
HAVE YOUR COCKTAIL AT PALIAKAMENI, FACING CALDERA.
I've been into Santorini since 2011, in all seasons, this being my 7th time. It is good to explore everywhere in this island, give yourself time to enjoy this magical place.
Based on the other reviews, I think your mileage here may vary depending on which room you get. I do see that others who stayed in the same rooms (small, ground level, bedroom without door, only bathroom access through the second bedroom, etc.) also left poor reviews. The lodgings we had were sub par with old and broken furniture, extremely small and uncomfortable beds, external door which barely closed, and the constant overwhelming smell of sewage really made this a less than comfortable spot. There also is no TV if you care about that, but the wifi was excellent. There’s also zero view, which is a shame. Do not be swayed by the promise of a “hot tub.” It is an inflatable affair, and is not super clean. In addition, beware, there is a camera pointing right at it. The breakfast was good, but not a huge selling point for us. We ended up here as we booked rather last minute. Honestly, I really regret that, because considering the lack of comfort, lack of sleep because of the awful beds, the really horrid smell (I still think about that smell when I remember Santorini), and just the overall vibe of the place, it really detracted from the enjoyment of our vacation. In summary: The location is excellent, but the place is more than a little gross. In addition , the price wasn’t great for what we got. The moral of this story is book early, and look harder for better options.
AAldise SyarifaCheap, very good location (just near to the Fira Bus Station), friendly staff. I could leave my luggage before check in time, even after checking out! I spent a night here, met some nice travelers, unfortunately they played music loudly until almost midnight. But it's okay as they stopped right at midnight so I could sleep well eventually. Overall, the hostel was good, although the room was kinda old (also the air cond, but it worked well). For me, it was just worth the price.
OOngThe hotel housekeeping was average but lacking in security as there was no staff in attendance during my 4 days stay there. There was only a cleaning lady there during the morning fr 930am. But when we came back fr our daily outings at 2pm, there were not a soul.
We felt very unsafe as there was no staff around during the day or night.
Guests were left unsecured in an unmanned hotel premise day and over the night. Entrance to the hotel are easily accessible as there are nobody at the reception counter.
Will not recommend anyone to patronise such an irresponsible business premise.
