I booked Hilton San Diego thinking that is a brand name and that my stay will be amazing. On the contrary,
1. When I called the front desk 3 out of 5 days of my stay to provide a bottle of water at 7 am, they asked me to come downstairs to collect it and said they do not have staff for the same
2. They hardly have any vegetarian/vegan breakfast options which was a bummer
3. Even after calling the front desk/asking the receptionist to have my room cleaned during the day, the room was as is when I came back to the hotel. This happened thrice out of 5 days
4. The front desk staff was not polite at all and didn’t know even to have a smiling face
5. Pool area was closed. I really wanted to enjoy the sun hence booked a hotel with pool area but sadly, it was closed
6. I had booked a King Size Ensuite around a month back, however they gave me 2 queen sized beds. When asked about it, they said that they are sold out. How can they sell off rooms when they know a pre-booking is already in place?
7. There is no coordination amongst staff at all. Had to repeat same thing over and over again
In short, my stay at Hilton was pathetic.
