Wyndham Salvador Hangar Aeroporto

The Novotel Salvador Hangar Aeroporto best features are its location near the airport, newer facilities than most properties in Salvador, and it operates under the ACCOR hotel brand. Despite these advantages, I must report a unacceptable experience during my stay December 28th to 31st 2022 followed by deplorable managerial customer service in response to verified and documented service failures. I have reported these issues to my travel agency, my corporate travel unit, and my personal travel networks. As I discovered this property using Trip Advisor, I have decided to report this matter for the benefit of my fellow readers. I do not recommend this property for business travelers nor cultural tourism travelers (especially not those seeking afro-Brazilian tourism or those welcoming to the African diaspora). I share some reasons herein: • Unreliable Service: During my stay I experienced one major internet outage over six business hours, as well as minor room outages (less than 30 minutes) on each day of my stay. This hotel was advertised as catering to business travelers, but the hotel provided no updates when internet would be restored despite repeated requests. I did not receive any support to manage the disruption to my teleworking, and personnel were unable/unwilling to facilitate solutions (At one point, I was recommended to use the free internet of one of the shopping malls. Imagine carrying expensive computer equipment to what my taxi driver warned was a “high crime” area). Sadly, the ability of the reception staff to identify solutions was more unreliable than the internet service. • Poor Room Quality: This hotel advertises rooms of high standards of quality, and I am sure many receive good rooms. However, I received a room that was both substandard quality (bathroom sidings and interior furniture water damaged, door malfunction, refrigerator malfunction) and pollutted by the buildings HVAC exhaust being poorly designed, allowing exhaust to flow against rooms on the lower floor (high noise pollution noticeable when sleeping). I believe most guests do not have this experience, as the issue likely affects few rooms on the lower floors. However, when choosing this property, one must ask the question, how does the receptionist decide who receives these rooms which experience high dust inflow and high noise pollution (I have videos and photos available upon request). Why are some customers placed in quality rooms, and others assigned to substandard rooms (noting the hotel has standard room types based on bed requirements)? Why did this hotel property assume that one of their few afro-descendent customers would accept the worst room in the property? • Deplorable Managerial Level Customer Service: Upon checkout, a customer service representative noted my dissatisfaction with my hotel experience, and asked if I would be willing to receive inquires from hotel management the next business day. I did not have confidence in their customer service bu

The hotel stopped in time, I was there a few years ago and I stayed in a very good room, great bed, airy, this time it was a little frustrating, the room q I left to desire, the furniture q they call guards clothes or something like, they are c old wood smell, the table, chairs and the comfort near the bed tbm are requesting for upgrade, the air conditioning still eh wall, an unsupportable noise and the smell was not very good .... As a positive point in the large mirrors rooms and the bathroom had no problems, although the bath area is small ...... and my girlfriend was happy c the quality of the cover ..... The tbm fridgebar deserves to be exchanged, but it works ... The pool and pool area are abandoned, I prefer and a walk on the beach, the deception pq q would stay relaxing in the hotel pool, but without conditions, vc does not feel the least willing to stay in the pool area .... Morning breakfast eh only acceptable......

All perfect. Note 9.5. If you want to be note 10 you need to have a better blackout in the rooms because the balcony is super clear when the sun is born. We had only one problem with the lock, because the card failed to open about three times and we had to return to the gateway.

Excellent place to spend with the family, quiet and pacified place, very close to the beach, many restaurants both on the beach during the day and around, markets and shops all very close, Ha is also very close to the airport that made our trip easier. A dress for all of the very charismatic and efficient hostel.

We stayed in the hotel from November 11 to 14th. There were small screws on the floor of the room, the towel was clearly very much used, the fridge was yellow and not open right, the bath floor had strange screws, the water out of the air-conditioning was pinking on the bath box, the drops of the shower went more to the di window than downwards, mirror squeezeing and etc. One day we arrived after 22:00 and the hotel was closed, we had to tighten the interphone air and someone met us so carefully that we seemed to be going to rob him. The hotel is in a bad location, the Uber himself said there are several hosting houses around and therefore doesn't recommend walking at night because it's dangerous, and the breakfast is bad. I don't recommend!!
