Comfortable accommodations. Friendly staff! Keep in mind that this property doesn't abut the beach, instead it is a property off the main road. So there may be some road noise, but I personally didn't mind at all. There is a trail that leads to the beach, and that section of beach have bars and restaurants! Small, simple, clean bungalows. Comfortable. There were multiple sizes of bungalows, though, and I had the smallest one. Hosts are very helpful and can book services for you. I would recommend this property if you are looking to stay in the northern part of the island.

We stayed in papillon for a week and we really envoyed it. Everybody is very helpfull and nice, you really feeling like you re at home. The swimming pool is very good for young kids. Also the restaurant is great, spécial mention for the pad thaï spécial. 😊

Papillon is a great place for lazy days in Koh Lanta. It is family friendly with an afternoon shaded pool and Christer with staff is helpfull in a relaxed and serviceminded fashion. The bungalow was clean and cool and the bed was rock solid. The ocean is close by with two options of axcess. Down by the Chalet you will find a restaurant, a café and sunbeds. The other leads to Pangea beach bar. You can swim in the ocean all day long. The real gem of the place though is the in-house restaurant well worh a trip by itself if you live elsewhere. The meny offers one of the tastiest thai food selection we came across during our Thailand adventure. It is within a comfortable price range and served by a great staff. Plenty of bang for the buck. The care taker Aein in the reception is fantastic, what a star.

Great value accommodation near the beach. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Good breakfasts. Pool area was nice to cool down and shady in the afternoons when the shade has gone from the beach. Good location just off the main road in long beach near restaurants and shops. Only 5 minutes walk to the beach too. Kids loved the bunk beds, hammock and pancakes for breakfast! Perhaps a little tired in places and could benefit from some tlc but nothing to stop us wanting to return, hope to come back one day!

Great and wonderful staff! Very kind and very helpful.
The room was big, comfy bed (if you like a hard matress). Huge bathroom - though every night the cockroaches got in the bathroom… The room in general could use a paint makeover.
Quiet surroundings wich was nice.
200-300 mtrs to the beach but the road wasn’t really distinct. You can encounter various animals on your way to the beach!
They dont accept credit card, only cash! (Wich is weird given its almost 2024..)

We had a wonderful 5 night stay here. Our bungalow was clean and the AC and hot water worked great. It was nothing fancy but suited our needs perfectly. The pool was clean and cool and perfect for an afternoon swim in the crazy heat. The best part of our stay was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, kind and helpfull. Ing arranged scooters and pick up for the ferry for us. She served us breakfast everyday and even remembered our orders. Shout out to Mr "everything" Keen. Him and his family are so hard working and kind and kept the place in tip top shape. Thanks for all the helpful tips for places to visit on this beautiful island! We look forward to coming back as soon as possible 🙏💞

Papillon bungalows is an exellent place, well keept , good food and very nice staff. Quiet and a nice pool, a short walk to a very nice beach. Long beach is one of the best beaches in Koh Lanta, and of course manus places with very good food. A place to return to. :) :) :)

Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. Great location, central around long beach, lots of bars and restaurants on the beach side and street side in either direction. Very quick walk to the beach. Great breakfast with multiple options. Loved the deck area with chairs and hammocks, spacious room. AC worked well and there was a cold mini-fridge. The grounds were very well kept and nice walkway with great lighting at night. Would definitely stay again next time in ko lanta.
The only negative was the bathroom could use some work, the toilet seat needed to be replaced(broken) and the shelf above the sink needed to be re-screwed in was worried about putting anything on it, same with towel rack(sagging). Was one of the most spacious bathrooms i've had in Thailand, which was nice but still when you shower water everywhere.

I can highly recommend the accommodation. The bungalow was large and clean and about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The staff is extremely nice, they advise and help with anything. Breakfast is also very good, you get a choice of several options
