Campanile Smart Lyon Est - Eurexpo Bron Aviation

This very new building is easy to spot whilst walking (10 minutes) from Bron airport. The foyer and staff are smart, although the electric revolving door is a menace after dark- the curved side panels are invisible . We had a third floor room; although there is only one small lift, inadequate for the size of hotel, the stairs are very easy. There was an excellent view, and no sound from adjacent rooms or outside.Basic comfort was good, with a rather soft bed,but excellent aircon, and a window which both opened fully and had opaque curtains. There was light and space for writing, and a sort of wall mounted seat at which two people could eat on an article like a hospital bed table. The stowage was the usual budget type fixed shelf and coat rail, without a drawer or a safe. Again at budget level ,there was no fridge, but the coffee machine could be used to make tea. The complicated modern bathroom arrangements required three sliding doors, and one hinged, to enclose a space large enough to provide a bath, but instead there was the trendy walk in shower and almost useless shallow basin with no plug.I suppose I should be grateful that the shower did not flood the room. Breakfast was in a rather small room ,with very basic furniture, but as good as the 4 star hotel I am at present occupying in Nice!

The hotel is a very good hotel and is a good hotel. The rooms are sparate in the 1970s, which is more glacial despite the heat in the ground. Traces of humidity at the ceiling just above the bed head. Let au matlas défoncé, certainly we feel well the resorts. The bathroom is very date with the washing spots, black traces on the walls left by a wall accessory (hair dry?) missing, mosquito shower joints, hair and hair in the washing and shower! ... And it was the same for my 4 colleagues who had also booked. To avoid absolutely. And it is a 3 stars!!! ???

The location of the hotel is quiet, there is a small lake outside the window, very small. Temporary stay for one night, not far from the city center, ten minutes drive. Good environment, good view, free parking

Hotel good rooms good, staff nice. Due to current Covid policy room was only cleaned on demand. We did not know that and were a little bit surprised that the room was not made up. Some of the other visitors appeared (true or not) to be related to ”red light” business: We met a girl in the elevator with nothing on except for a longer shirt and a pair of sneakers. That was more from the amusing side. Less entertainig was that other visitors were hitting the doors late at night so that one of my colleagues reported that he could not sleep that night. Some guy had obvilously passed out in the parkway and there was shattered glass. As mentioned above the hotel itself is really price worthy, and there is really nothing to complain but our wish would be that the hotel would do more to protect the interest of visitors who would like to take a rest at night.

I was very comfortable and very comfortable. The parking was well illuminated at night, and it was clean. The room was large enough with an immense bed. The bathroom also surprised me by its size. I was comfortable there. The bed was quality, I sleeped very well. The cleaning of the room and the lingerie (bed and toilet) was innocent. The negative point is that it was warm in the room. You can't sleep the open window, because it's annoying with the clients passing on the curve. The only way to have a cost is to make air conditioning work, which brings noise that can disturb sleep.

The reception is very bad and the reception service to talk to me badly yet it's air conditioning doesn't work and the room was deguulasses the shower too.He didn't even want to change my room he just answered that he Not the electricist and that it is not his problem and that the hotel is complete . knowing that I was with my wife and my 3-year-old baby after I was angry I have the right to have another room the or minimum air conditioning works but the good man na The hotel is the most bad hotels I have visited during my trip.
