Le Val Thorens, a Beaumier Hotel

This place is amazing! Awesome location. The hotel itself has a really cool 70s vibe, the interior is so well thought through. Staff are all great too. Good sized rooms - ideal for coming back to after a day on the slopes. Breakfast has plenty of choice for everyone. Awesome apres ski on sunny days with the DJ. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room are really well kept and feel brand new! Shout out to Hugo for helping make our stay so great. 💜 We’ll be coming back for sure!

Staying at the hotel Val Thorens was a great choice. Shops and bars outside the front door and pistes out of the back. Our first time in this resort and to a ski in/out hotel. No trudging through the streets to find a bus or chairlift! The hotel is a carefully restored 1970’s one with a light atrium at its centre. Only three floors high the rooms are adequate, warm and comfortable, the giant beds are great. Breakfast and dinner are both filling and delicious and the staff so helpful and friendly.

Val Thorens is an amazing skiing area. Why one star? We came here to enjoy the mountains, skiing and nice evenings on the balcony. . Instead we are being blasted by loud music from 16:00 until after midnight and apparently this will be every night this week. Sleep is impossible as is sitting on the balcony. I like a good party/ after ski however would like to have a choice if I want to attend. And apparently neither the booking agency nor the responsible people in Val Thorens thought to give a heads up that living in town this week will mean you are exposed to music so loud that sleep is not possible. Had we known we would have chosen a different location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Le Val Thorens Hotel. Our south-facing room with balcony on the 3rd floor was spacious and well equipped - with a king-sized bed and a lovely bathroom. The view across the piste and mountains beyond was great. The towels were ample and of best quality, as were bathrobes (for going to and from the pool) The breakfasts were excellent and catered for every taste. We were half-board and enjoyed the diners, which included a main course a la carte and a buffet selection of starters (including sometimes oysters and crevettes !), and final courses. The a la carte menu had only 4 choices each evening, but changed daily and was well prepared and well presented. No complaints. The attitude of the staff at all levels was exemplary. Everyone pleasant, friendly and helpful - that above all made our stay so good. The hotel was kind enough to provide perfect weather for us too. The boot room was a few steps from the piste, where immediate access to several lifts was possible. We skied as much as we wanted and several times enjoyed a swim in the hotel's indoor poolafterwards. The sauna and steam room we used too. There was also a little gym, which we didn't use, but the equipment there was comprehensive and of beautiful quality. This may be our last season skiing, (being mid- and late-seventies) - but otherwise I would definately come here again.

It was a pleasant stay, the staff is really well trained and welcoming.We have stayed here for week for a family skiing trip. The position of the hotel is excellent. The rooms are exactly right for us, with great views and perfect children's bunk beds. The food is traditional French cuisine - PERFECT in terms of taste, quality and portions after long days skiing. The service is excellent - all staff are polite, cheerful, helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel location is excellent for the slopes Rooms are practical rather than comfortable and the shower and bathroom were fine Staff were very friendly and helpful especially on reception and at breakfast. The ski shop was fine although I had to change my skis. The bar was a bit lifeless and not particularly welcoming. The fondue restaurant was excellent and a definite must visit. However, make sure that this is reserved early as we had to wait 3 nights before we could get a table

It was a pleasant stay, the staff is really well trained and welcoming. Loved the mountain view and the activities is has to offer. Nice room with all the essential needs, good for families and breakfast is incredible. Overall I would suggest it

Great Location. Staff was kind, professional and they always care of our demands. From our arrival until our departure everything was almost perfect. Room was clean. Access to the slopes so easy and fast. After ski at the terrasse is so cool and friendly.
