The bed was the best I've ever slept in. I didn't want to get out. Great pillows too. The kitchen was a nice extra, especially when we needed a morning coffee and it was raining outside. The entrance steps are a bit steep, but our first floor room made in and out easier.

We have stayed in Saint John a few times prior to our most recent visit and our room at 1 Chipman Hill was by far the best yet. The property is centrally located within easy walking distance of most everything in the uptown/downtown area. We appreciated the easy entrance into the building and the room was excellent....spacious, clean, and although the room is located in a heritage building, the bathroom was updated while keeping with the historic look in the main room. Beds were comfy. Parking is easy to arrange and communications with the caretaker were clear and prompt. Mary Grace Nepomuceno was an excellent host. We will definitely stay at Chipman Hill Suites on our next visit.

Chipman Hill Suites are a beautiful historic property in the heart of Saint John. Vicky my housekeeper had my suite prepared to perfection. I had a wonderful experience with complete relaxation. I highly recommend this beautiful experience and will be back soon.

Rooms are fantastic! Clean and very comfortable. Staff made it very easy to check in and have very clear and easy to understand directions. Staff even aranged parking permits as Saint John does not have overnight parking. The buildings themselves are in a great location. I will stay again. Much better then a hotel!

We stayed at 5 Chipman Hill and everything went very smooth.The parking was onsite,the keyless entry was a breeze and our suite keys were waiting for us on the lobby table. The suite was wonderfully decorated and the bed was so comfortable. No complaints about anything we experienced. The building is close to everything in Uptown Saint John.We will definitely return to Chipman Hill Suites again.

Fabulous heritage place with complete suites. I appreciate repurposing these beautiful old homes into a wonderful place to stay. The decor with the old fireplaces, high ceilings, enchanting hallways and spectacular staircases make it all that much more appealing. The location was perfect for our reason to be in Saint John, New Brunswick (St John Arts Centre). Well maintained and the suite was spotlessly clean. Very comfy bed with a mountain of pillows! We heartily recommend it.

I stayed at Chipman Hill #1 for the second time this week. Check in was super easy, the room was comfortable, clean and full of all the amenities. Mary Grace, the Innkeeper, was easy to get a hold of, and very responsive. Maria who made up my room was respectful, kept the room extra comfortable. I can't wait to stay again!

The building,staff and stay was awesome….everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to everyone. Special thanks to Rocio,Olga and Marina. You three made the trip completely worth it.I will definitely be back to stay again.
