The room was clean and well presented . Check in was made more difficult as the screen did not work for both ourselves and others which meant waiting for a receptionist to man the desk. She was polite and efficient. The breakfast was good. Parking was limited and we paid for parking on a nearby street . This turned out to be cheeped than the multi story car park even when the discount was applied
Overall we were pleased with our two night stay in St Albans. This was the fourth forth hotel we stayed at and was certainly the best of the bunch

If the guest does not notify the front desk, the hotel staff will not enter the room to clean and tidy up. I very much agree with this approach, which is environmentally friendly and does not hinder the daily life of the guests.

Terrible don’t expect food apparently they’re busy when just two groups are in of 6 and won’t even serve you. Manager I think it was needs sack. This old man came and said he must eat he was told to wait over hour. They don’t want to serve. They don’t want to help

Aweful experience blood stained bedding that was made to be our fault why would I complain if it was our own blood and move us all at 11pm at night with 2 autistic children I’d of remained where we were if it was our own blood but none of us had any cuts or anything to of caused this

This was the worst hotel experience as my room over looked a night club that did not shut until 3am. My room was so close that it vibrated to the music. Sleep was totally impossible. The staff were polite but reassured me that I could get a refund if I applied on line. I applied under their Good Night Sleep guarantee. This ‘guarantees’ a full refund in the event that your sleep is disturbed. Yesterday my application was refused because the noise was outside the hotel. They should either add enough insulation to the room to make it sound proof or simply not sell the rooms when the night club is open. Disgusted.

This hotel is handy if I need to stay overnight for work reasons and, usually, it has served me well. However, it's starting to feel neglected and should take notice of the arrival of alternative hotels in the neighbourhood. My main complaint, however, was the room itself. I immediately noticed how cold it was when I arrived but I couldn't do anything about it as the heater control panel was 'dead'. I asked at reception and no one was bothered enough to come and check. The receptionist said she would adjust the heating remotely but I don't believe she actually did anything (or the system wasn't working) because there was no discernible improvement in temperature. In the end I had to sleep wearing additional layers and was happy to leave ASAP in the morning so that I could warm up in the car. I'm currently waiting to hear how they intend to resolve this complaint.

Staff are very friendly especially Yasmine and Callum. They were extremely friendly and a great laugh. Nice entertainment for the night gave us good suggestions about what to do in the area. Beds were comfy and pillows were soft had a great sleep
