The room was clean and well presented . Check in was made more difficult as the screen did not work for both ourselves and others which meant waiting for a receptionist to man the desk. She was polite and efficient. The breakfast was good. Parking was limited and we paid for parking on a nearby street . This turned out to be cheeped than the multi story car park even when the discount was applied
Overall we were pleased with our two night stay in St Albans. This was the fourth forth hotel we stayed at and was certainly the best of the bunch

If the guest does not notify the front desk, the hotel staff will not enter the room to clean and tidy up. I very much agree with this approach, which is environmentally friendly and does not hinder the daily life of the guests.

Just a big shout out for nabz,Tara and Jasmin , We were welcomed by Nabz who gave us amazing customer service and went above and beyond to help us as my husband is disabled he accommodated our needs,Jasmin came in the evening to welcome us back and Tara in the resteraunt went above and beyond with her lovely friendly manner ,

I regularly stay at this Premier Inn for work and this was my first stay of the New Year. I paid up front for early check in (new on the website) and so it was great when I arrived just before 1pm to receive a warm welcome from Callum, that my room was ready and I was checked in, ultimate wi fi sorted and a day booked for a room clean as I was staying three days. I had a Premier Plus room which met my standards in a quiet part of the hotel in a corner and as always the rooms are well equipped, nice comfy bed, desk to work on and a fridge. All in all another great stay

We found free parking without using the recommended pay car parking Walked the short distance to reception and was promptly checked in at about 8pm Our room was absolutely baltic, we put the heater to full blast and sat there with our coats on until it was more sensible It was still too cold to shower etc, got a few hours sleep and left just after 3 am Not overly impressed.

Room felt unclean, with stains on carpet and bed linen. The fridge in our first room was not working, and we were moved to another room. Complimentary water not supplied as promised when booking. Severe condensation on windows, leaving pools of water on windowsill. We won't be going back there despite the staff being very friendly and helpful and doing their best.

Good room as always but no staff to be seen on arrival. Finally found some to ask about early check in at 1pm happy to pay as email confirmation suggested but not able to as rooms not ‘checked’. Finally got in 45 mins early a credit we weren’t charged. Breakfast was ok some items took a while to be replaced. Again a ok stay for convenient central location
