Hotels near Yasaka Shrine, Sagamihara

Train station, convenience store, shopping mall in walking distance. Located in the middle of Tokyo and Mt Fuji. Stay here if you are looking for peace, stay out of the city crowd (especially Tokyo, Shinjuku area), but you have to sacrifice some travelling time. We had a chill and relax trip, and really had fun throughout our 8nights stay here. Hotel's receptionist can communicate well in English, but not to nearby shops/stores. No worries much cause simple English or google translate works well too in Japan. Hotel does provide self service laundry at 3rd floor (few hundred yens only to both wash & dry)

The location is good, the room is renovated or beautiful? Some places. The air conditioner remains old and sounds quite good. It's a reduction point that long hair came out from under the pillow that should have been cleaned. It is the front desk of check-in, but if you give the card of the room on purpose, the adjustment is made by the automatic adjustment machine from the beginning? . I feel that breakfast is good. I think it's good to be staying as an ordinary business.

We stayed 2 nights in Toyoko Inn Sagamihara for a work related trip. Conveniently located near the train station, it is a great option for a stay. Breakfast spread is pretty decent. Get a membership card if you plan to stay in major cities in Japan on your trip. You get member discounts up to 10% and the card costs 1500 yen so it pays off if you book for 2 nights or more. The room was nice and spacious. Toyoko Inn is a great chain. They seemed to have worked out the value for money formula and are always in great locations close to train stations in all major cities.

I stayed there one night as lodging on Yokota Air Base was not available. I am a member of Toyoko Inn and I had ten points from previous stays in other Toyoko Inns giving me a free stay. The location is great. Multiple convenience stores one which is right outside the entrance. Also there is a supermarket and taxi stand close by. Excellent and very informative staff. The room was a typical Toyoko Inn room. Very small, but you had everything. Staff very friendly and informative if you needed information.

I used it for the first time, but the room didn't feel smaller than I expected and it was clean and nice. The customer service of the staff was also kind. It may be the timing when using breakfast, but it is a little crowded, so it is recommended to use it with plenty of room. It's not a luxurious menu, but I thought it was enough quality and quantity for breakfast free. Next time, I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

Hotel lobby is on the 7F although you can enter from the Station floor (3F) via elevator. The hotel has a lovely all-female floor. Go up elevator, enter foyer where a fresh-water cooler awaits. There are serene sliding tinted doors on both sides. One is for the ice, soda and washing-machine (as well as a small secluded smoking area covered in glass.) The other, is for the hotel rooms. In order to enter the room-hallway, you must use your card-key. It is quiet and calming, which I have never felt in a hotel. The room was simple, clean, roomy and comfortable--with individual wifi. There's complimentary tea, coffee, and hot pot. The small fridge is only just-cool with no ice compartment-which is ok as ice is across the hall. The round table and single chair are designed for the single-traveling female. The bed is lower to the ground than western beds, but REALLY comfortable, with an extra pillow in closet. The bathroom is bright, only lacks lotion, which I use after a shower. But they had little packets of facial wash, scrub and face toner in a complimentary pouch. The shower head was removable and had excellent power. The temp of water can get REALLY hot, so if you want to take a hot, hot bath, you can do so! The view was of the walking station area below, with lights and action, bus station below as well as taxis awaiting, but I could not hear a thing, so the insulation is impressive. There's an entire shopping area with grocery store, flower shop, bread stores and coffee shops on the 3F with a 100-yen store, cake shop and restaurants on both 7-8F. As everyone has said, it is a 1-minute walk to the ticket wicket to aboard the train to either Shinjuku on 1-end or the Mt Fuji area going the opposite direction. The Romance Car-fancy name for faster train can be taken from Sagami-Ono station. So comfortable and faster. The area is but yet clean and not congested at all. As any big city, people are doing their own thing so you won't meet people randomly unless you take some risks. For me, the hotel suited my needs and I felt incredibly rested, safe and secure traveling alone. I paid approximately $75 a night. (8200 yen - tax included)

Although there is not much to do in Atsugi, this hotel is worth recommending. It is a five-star hotel. The decoration, facilities, bedding, and electrical appliances are very new, which refreshed my understanding of Japanese hotels that are small and shabby. Especially the bathroom not only separates dry and wet areas, but also divides it into three areas, which is very nice! The room is equipped with a refrigerator, a drum, a washing machine, a microwave, an induction cooker, a spatula, and everything else. It's so complete! This is really a hotel, not an apartment! I have to say that the price/performance ratio is very high! I stayed here for five days and it was very comfortable. I will definitely choose this hotel next time I have the opportunity.

　When I returned to Japan temporarily, I made a reservation because it was close to my local area (Yurigaoka / Odakyu Sagamihara) and was an inn at the station Chika along the Odakyu line. If you have a large suitcase, it's a bit painful, but it's acceptable. It was helpful that elementary school students were free to sleep together. Also, it was very good to have a middle bath, which is rare in a business hotel. Breakfast was also very variable and exceeded expectations. However, there was no detergent sale in the coin laundry, and it was a little troublesome to go to a nearby convenience store. Maybe it was sold at the front desk. If possible, it would have been even better if you could upgrade to a fully automatic type until drying. Ebina moved to Narita Airport on Monday morning because the romance car stops, but since I had a large suitcase, I was caught in a commuting rush in general vehicles. It was saved to be close to ebina station.

There is a chance to take dinner at the restaurant operated by ”Nihon sake brewery; Izumi Bashi bridge”, and [Odawara] sightseeing was also used. The reason I chose this is because the three points of [ﾊﾞｽﾙｰﾑ] [ﾄｲﾚ] [bathroom] are independent ﾀｲﾌﾟ as well as the previous accommodation [ﾎﾃﾙﾋﾞｽﾀ Nagoya (Nishiki)] are independent ﾀｲﾌﾟ while the three points independent ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞ surrounding residence ｽﾍﾟｰｽ will be narrow. Therefore, there is a long and short, and the evaluation of three points independent may be divided into individual preferences. I like the use of the room ﾎﾟｯﾄ If the bathroom is just next to ﾄｲﾚ I like the use of drinking water, and ﾊﾞｽﾙｰﾑ is like home. This time, I used the accommodation [ｼﾝｸﾞﾙ; room ｽﾍﾟｰｽ 15.2m2 ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞ width 140cm] and ｽﾍﾟｰｽ enough, but it may be the sacrifice of 3 points independent ﾀｲﾌﾟ. Breakfast (see attached photo) was normal in content and nothing was impressive.

The interior of this hotel is very tidy and has all the usual amenities, including a paid washing machine and dryer, bathroom bathtub and clothesline, refrigerator, and battery. What's surprising is that the windows can be opened for ventilation. Breakfast is from 6:30 to 9 o'clock in the morning. Every night, you will be asked on TV how many people will have breakfast tomorrow to reduce waste. The only inconvenience is that the convenience store is far away. If you need to go to the convenience store after 11 pm, it takes 10 minutes to go back and forth. There are several vending machines in the hotel. Toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, bathrobe, and razor need to be picked up in the lobby. This hotel will be cleaned only once every four days. If you don't need to make a mistake, you can check at the front desk. But towels are delivered to the room door every day. Overall, it feels very good. If you don't need entertainment facilities such as large baths, this hotel is very good.
