Convenient (8 miles) for an early morning ferry departure from Portsmouth but tucked away in a relatively quiet spot. Beware of the car park that it shares with the adjoining Harvester. There's some serious potholes including one near the exit that looks like it would take a wheel off!

What you would expect from a Travelodge. Clean and tidy, spacious room. No USB sockets though, bring a mains adapter

Good location close to the M27. Warm welcome from the desk staff on arrival with clear information on how to register your Car and check out information . Room was clean, comfortable and functional. The next morning on checkout I had great service from Sue who was very helpful and bubbly. This Hotel is perfect for a Business user.

Didn’t get a single hour of sleep here, the walls are so thin you can hear every single thing in the hotel. Window looked out onto a bush which meant there was no light in the room and was pitch black our whole stay. Postcode given also takes you to the wrong place.

Have stayed here twice with work so when it came to book for a little family break I booked here as it's a great location. The staff are always welcoming and the hotel is in a quiet location with a pub next door. As it's outside Portsmouth it's good value too but only a 20 minute drive to all the local attractions. Would definitely stay again.

Visited last year under less pleasant circumstances, vowed to return which we have now done, a little later than envisaged, but still a very enjoyable and comfortable stay

I had been travelling for days and very tired when I arrived. Sue the receptionist was very kind and answered all my questions patiently. I was pleased to learn that unlike a lot of other Travelodges I did not have to pay for parking . I had booked a ground floor room with disability features. It was a good size room and large bathroom. All very clean. I had a good rest and in evening the bed was very comfortable. There was no noise. The heating was great and easily adjustable. My window looked out on to greenery and so was private. I stay in Travelodge a lot and this was one of the best. Thank you from a rejuvenated traveller.

Great stay at Rowlands a bit overpriced in holidays so this is why we came after. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly.
