Umilta 36

Whilst reviews are subjective to each individuals own experience, and having booked Umilta36 on the back of some of the great reviews we read and the ambitions outlined by Claudio Ceccherelli previously across the entire group . As i now reflect on our recent stay at Umilta36 there is no more that i can add that has not been written before. This is an incredibly appointed 5 Star boutique hotel that carries style and decadence from the moment you enter and navigate through its offerings, until the moment you rest your head on the luxury pillows - it's just unique and classy and the staff work incredibly hard to keep it that way in its upkeep and in their high standard interactions with guests. The location of the hotel is central to most of the sites you will want to see (walking distance) and the shops and eateries you'll want to go to. Something we learned, is that the food outlets offer more of the same in product and price especially those in close proximity to tourist hotpots. The volume of eateries mostly infer to have 'mamas special something' in some guise or another, whereas if you navigate off the busy tourists tracks then there is greater chance of achieving access to more of mamas authentic cuisine and better priced. Do look out for those synthesised violinists at every other corner.......their craft is in the act of performance but it's not in the art of playing the instrument, just like those who sell prints but claim to draw them from the new crayons placed at their side.......so many AI artists maybe. Note, we invested into the airport transfer service via the Hotel and whilst it does cost more than the shuttle/taxi's on offer, this was a seamless and 5 star door to door service experience and most certainly needed when in Rome. Finally, we did encounter a couple of matters where our expectations where not aligned and found that the Hotel where more than willing to discuss and resolve when able mostly. In summary, this is a lovely appointed hotel and we had a good vacation.

My husband booked the Umilta 36 as part a surprise 50th birthday weekend in Rome. This hotel is hands down one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in across my travels. It’s 3 mins walk to the Trevi fountain but sits in a quiet road opposite a church (go inside…it’s beautiful ! ) There are so many reasons why we loved this hotel but the unique thing that stood out most of all are the amazing staff. They were fantastic from the moment we stepped inside the doors. The hotel itself is beautifully put together and incredibly stylish and the staff are the same. Warm, friendly , charming , a genuinely wonderful team. We were welcomed, shown around and then onto our room. Wow …the only room with a wonderful balcony to step out onto . The breakfast was a delicious choice of hot, cold & made to order. The breakfast staff were fantastic. Such a nice ambience to the place. A well stocked complementary mini bar in our room . Knocks on the door from staff bringing Valentines chocolates one evening , then welcome cookies the next. Our bed was beyond comfortable. Everything we needed on hand already in the room. A safe, a steamer, hairdryer We just can’t say enough good things about Umilta36. A big thank you to all the staff for making my birthday such a memorable one. We will definitely return to stay again . If you are reading this review dont hesitate to book !!

Fantastic hotel with excellent staff and attention to detail. We stayed for 2 nights and the hotel was exceptional. The rooms are large and comfortable, with luxurious bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious also. The hotel is so well situated we walked everywhere. Highly recommend.

“A house is not a home, without the people in it!” Umilta 36 is a beautiful upscale hotel, but it is the people there, that make it a home! Umilta 36 is a beautiful boutique hotel; it offers everything you could want in an experience. The real beauty of our experience at Umilta 36, was the people who greet us upon arrival. They even cared about us, after departure! Thank you to everyone; the bellman, Anastasia at check in, she worked extra hard to find us a second room, for my I’ll travel partner. The service at the restaurant, impeccable. And, the concierge staff during our final hours when we needed their help to organize a DHL shipment to Hawaii; they set us at ease and made sure the package arrived. The rooms were exquisite; best shower ever after a long day walking the crowded cobblestone streets. Its a joy to return to Umilta 36. The restaurant is top notch; the official greeter, beautiful man named Charlie who remembers your name. My friend, had survived cancer had always dreamed to go to Rome; we made it happen and Umilta 36 was our final destination, and no one one disappointed us. Everyone treated us with sincere compassion. No pretentious snobbery here; just joy and consideration. Thank you to everyone! Mahalo from Hawaii! Helen and Donna

Stayed for 3 nights late October with my wife and 14 yo son, and were treated like royalty by the staff from before arriving. Location is perfect between the Trevi fountain and Via del Corso, in spite of which noise was never a problem. We stayed in a family suite which was later out ideally, with impeccable decor and cleanliness. Breakfast was elaborate and lovely, and the hotel is adjacent to a restaurant with a lovely roof bar/terrace that can be accessed from the lifts. Best part was the staff, especially Emilia who went out of her way to find restaurants, areas to go out and make us feel at home throughout. She want well above and beyond what we expected. Carlo at the bar was also amazing. We felt so well looked after by all the staff (others names I didn’t catch) and had an amazing break. It is expensive, but so are many places, and you get what you pay for here. Highly recommended

Lovely 3 day stay with my family and my grandparents . Location is top notch, decor impeccable , beds really comfortable and spacious room layout . What’s most important to me is the wonderful and attentive staff from the doormen, reception team, concierge, restaurant and bar staff. It doesn’t happen a lot that there’s not even a single flaw to be said about the staff … at all. Sincerely friendly faces all around. Bar in the rooftop is super nice and we also really enjoyed the breakfast ( sometimes in Italy even at upscale hotels not too good) selection quality and service were great ! The location is a stone throw away from Fontana Di Trevi . We will definitely return .

It is a ver new and luxurious hotel in the center of Rome and every traveler have to try this property.
