We stayed at the “Campanile” hotel in Caldas de Rainha for three nights during October. It was a pleasant stay, in a modern hotel with easy access to main roads, a supermarket near-by, free parking and a room with all amenities. As is the custom lately there is only soap no shampoo, so bring some. The location is in a convenient spot for day trips to close destinations, like the Obidos Castle, the Nazere lighthouse, the Fatima shrine or the Buddha Garden of Eden; all these are within an hour drive. There was a misunderstanding between ******* and the hotel regarding the cost of breakfast. We had seen “included” when booking, but the hotel asked for pay; ******* promised to reimburse us for the cost (6 Euro/day/person). We would recommend this hotel for its location, amenities and low cost.

This hotel met all my expectations for the ancient European hotel: the house needless to say, the historical building, the furniture is any 18th century, the decoration is very antique, for me this nostalgia is very strong people undoubtedly full of attraction. The breakfast ceremony is full of sense, the food quality is fresh and delicious, the food is very satisfying, the staff are elegant and generous, warm and thoughtful. Needless to say, the hotel environment is exquisite and beautiful. The pool brings us a lot of happiness and leisure. Of course, this old hotel can't be satisfied every week because the room is not big, such as no coffee tea can be self-service at any time, but it feels very lucky to be able to live in the town medieval festival. The guests here are also very elegant and tasteful, very pleasant! Hopefully I can come here again.

Good location, small town center, go right and turn is a shopping center, turn left is the park, you can go shopping slowly, many small shops, early in the morning, you can go to the open-air market to buy local fruit, very good... The service is very good, the food in the hotel restaurant is very delicious, the service attitude is very good. There is a chance to go afterwards....

What a wonderful apartment to stay in, perfectly arranged, spotlessly clean and fully equipped, a very comfortable place right in the center of Santarem and yet totally peaceful. We cannot fault it, added to that Alexandra who received us is just a gem. She is very warm, welcoming and professional who would go out of her way to make sure you have the best experience during your stay at Villa Graca. We will be back and would recommend it 100%. My husband and I recently stayed here for a one night getaway and we really enjoyed our stay. We had a corner room with a large balcony overlooking the swimming pool. From the balcony, we could see the walled city of Obidos. We knew in advance that the spa and restaurant were closed but that breakfast was still being served. Upon check-in, we filled in a card with our breakfast order and the time we planned to eat. The waiter brought our food very shortly after we sat down. It was very good and plentiful. The pool was a lovely temperature and not crowded at all. Due to Covid-19, the mini-bar was empty and I had to ask for glasses at reception. All the staff had masks on and were very friendly and professional. We'd stay here again for sure!

They placed me in a different room than the contract (I booked a superior room with balcony and I was placed in a room without balcony, 20 euros cheaper). I found that attitude wrong. The hotel is good, a good breakfast.
