La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Columbia NE / Fort Jackson

I checked in pretty late. It took almost an hour to finally get someone to come to the desk. Had I not booked through an app I would have gone somewhere else. They did discount the room for my troubles. The room was very clean & the complimentary breakfast was pretty good as well. Overall my stay was pretty pleasant. Even after the rocky start I would book again when I visit the area.

You booked me at a different address than I ask for based on the location. When booking this I ask about the address to make certain I was booking the one closes to Ft. Jackson, SC. When I got there it was booked at a new location a little further away.

We were in town for my daughter's bootcam p graduation. The staff was super friendly and proffessional. Our room was clean and tidy. They offer free hot breakfast which was a deal beaker...eggs, bacon, waffles etc. Best part is that it is 10 minutes away from the base!

Concierge was very helpful and kind. Hotel was beautiful, clean rooms, and good breakfast. Thank you for hosting us!

Very clean and well maintained. It's been recently renovated. Close to several restaurants. Staff is very friendly. Close to the university. Would absolutely stay again!

Overall, this was a good 1-night stay in this hotel. The breakfast was good, and the wheelchair accessible room was very large and accommodated the wheelchair very nicely. The bathroom was large enough to fit the wheelchair under the sink. I did not like that the room was on the 3rd floor and as far away from the elevator and designated rescue area as could be. (Which was next to the elevator.) It was directly next to the stairs, at the very end of the hall, but what good does that do when you are in a wheelchair. That did not seem safe at all. And there was no mirror in the bathroom. There was a blow dryer but no mirror. Also, the beds were not comfortable and made a lot of noise when you moved. But I still think that it was a decent place for an overnight stay.

This is a new and very nice property. The entire building was very clean and inviting. I would definitely stay here again.

This a fairly new property. I appreciated the cleanliness and free breakfast option. The only issue I had during my stay was on the last night of my booking they decided to place a guest in a room next to mine who was hosting some sort of party or “kickback” in the room. There was loud music and the guests’ party goers were also very loud running up and down the hall and constantly banging on the room door. I asked the hotel staff kindly remind the guest of the noise level during night hours. Hotel staff was very ineffective with mitigating the issue as I had to reach out three different times. Apparently, this hotel supports room parties with loud music. I likely won’t be staying again due to staff being very inconsiderate about the complaint I had. Music was very loud so the complaint was not unreasonable. Other guests on the hall came out of the room to complain about noise level but I was the only one on the hall who actually went to the elevator to go down and speak to the hotel staff about it.

We were surprised that we was charged a 25 dollar per pet fee, your add didn’t mention that, it said that it was pet friendly, we tried to explain this to the front desk manager and he said we have to look in the policy section. I think you should say this up front in your add, we talked to another guest and she was surprised also saying the same thing I am talking about, my neighbor recommended this place and said he was never charged for his pets.
