High-end hotel. The room is large and the facilities are new and the living is very comfortable. The front desk is very good. Because there are various activities in the hotel from time to time, there are more people coming and going. I don't know why the room suddenly broadcast loudly in the early morning of the middle of the night, we can't understand it, broadcast three times. Parking for in-house guests is free.

The hotel is very nice. Due to work i stayed there already couple of times. It is a modern hotel with big rooms, nice modern hotel facilities like the restaurant, bar or outdoor terrace. People are very friendly & helpful!

Just a short (thankfully downhill) walk from the railway station (extensive rail and bus services give easy access to almost anywhere in the Netherlands) the hotel is an even shorter walk from the north bank of the Nederrijn with its shady walks and numerous restaurants. Very handy as there is no restaurant at any IHG Express. As I arrived mid-morning the room was not ready but the staff (more about them later) were happy to store my case until I returned that afternoon (and again after checkout before leaving on an afternoon train). The room itself was a good size with a large comfortable bed, a functional desk and chair and a comfortable chair. Air conditioning kept the temperature stable and the lighting was good - not the ”fashionable” near darkness of some. Bathroom was good with a spacious shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. Coffee and tea available. Breakfast is the only meal offered and is a fairly basic standard european offering. Meats, eggs and cheeses were adequate, yoghurt good, fresh fruit salad very good indeed. Coffee was machine provided and good with a variety of offerings. No hot options (standard with the Express brand) and I did not try any of the other cold choices. Although fairly centrally located with easy access to shops and all the usual facilities and infrastructure the room was quiet and peaceful. An Albert Heijn mini-supermarket opposite attracted small groups in the evening but was not a bother - indeed very useful for an occasional small purchase. All standard and as expected for the brand so why mark it excellent? I will come back to the staff who were unfailingly excellent - helpful, cheery and friendly (though never less than professional) and recognised me by the end of day 1. A credit to the hotel and its management. This is now my first choice when next in the vicinity

I had a terrible experience in this hotel at the end of August. Someone(s) broke into my room for 2 consecutive days with my door confirmed locked. The hotel didn't treat me seriously, they couldn't provide any convincing explanation or compensation. I went there for a business trip and had booked this hotel for 10 nights. The break in incident happened in the early morning 5:30am after my first sleep. I heard someone tried to open my door, but because I had locked it, so the intruder shaked the handle a few times, and eventually it did open!!! I went down and reported to the reception directly and asked if there was any CCTV. The staff said she didn't know...had to wait for her colleague to come back to answer me in the evening....by then i was told that there was no CCTV in this hotel...and they admitted it was one of their staff who broke into my room!!! I requested an explanation, the front desk only said it would not happen again. I requested to meet the duty manager, she said the manager would talk to me tomorrow....this is how they treated this security issue and code of conduct ”seriously”. Totally unacceptable. I could only go back to my room for the 2nd night. But then at 7:15am in the next morning, there was someone broke into my room again!! With a loud door closing sound, which i even more confirmed then the first time. The intruder went out as well before showing his/her face. It was unbelievable!!! I reported to the front desk again but they seemed not believe in me. Said it was not their staff this time and it was impossible to unlock the door with other cards. Long story short, it took me a whole day again in order to talk to the duty manager. And i personally showed her how to unlock my door using her card. She was finally speechless and arranged a new room for me. She said would investigate But I still could not receive a solid explanation in the next day and really felt unsafe. I was not able to sleep well and was super alert to different sounds. The next day the GM finally met me, but then still no compensation or with any gesture of apology. Didn't feel i was treated seriously so I decided to change the hotel for personal safety. They still charged me the fee for the 3 days. This was my worst hotel experience ever. Nice and clean, professional business hotel. Elevators the most effective and comfortable I ever seen in a EU hotel. Most rooms have a really nice view. Good restaurant, fast English speaking service. Like you have the small tables in a quiet place/row of the restaurant for single business travelers. Actually people meet each and have a chat there. No pressure for tips, that's common in other hotels. (Included in the price already) Just the amount and off you go without feeling obligated. Love that you drive straight into a free hotel parking garage with elevator, and have a entry to the lobby, no stress on a rainy day, unless you park way up at the roof. Perfect for travelers and business. Did not see any children, most business people so it was nice and quiet. I ended up here because my company favorite in Cuijk was fully booked, but I don't regret that. I will drive a few extra distance to stay here again. My absolute favorite for the area indeed.

The hotel is perfectly located next to the Central Station and at the edge of the shopping centre. In the lobby you can work and take a cup of free tea or coffee. The staff is young and informal. The rooms are not large, but a good bed and bathroom. Unfortunately, we find the death sin for each hotel room: a bottle of gliding from previous guests under the bed. Although the room was not dirty, this is of course a point of attention.

I spent a Sunday and Monday night there; paid by my host (the university). Great choice on their part. The room was well appointed except for the somewhat small safe which would not accommodate my laptop. That said, the place is quite safe (access to the guest rooms via elevator that requires guest access card), so I just left it in the open. There's a coffee machine in the room and you can get extra capsules from the front-desk if need be. Toilet and shower are separate but, yes, as JapanGirl has mentioned, if you are not alone, you need to feel quite comfortable with your partner ... Wifi is stable and pretty fast, also on the ground floor/brekkie area, tv has some English language channels. Brekkie is fabulous and plenty. The ground floor is separated in about half a dozen areas and you can have brekkie in an ambiance of your choice. I had a colleague over for an hour to discuss one of her projects and ordered a cappuccino for her. When I wanted to pay for it, I was told that was fine. Everyone on the staff is super-nice and helpful. Good vibes. Really quite liked the place.

We stayed at this nice hotel when walking “long distance routes” at Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Excellent rooms. They advertise a lot about there renovated brasserie but that’s closed on weekdays. I couldn’t find the bar or the regular restaurant on their website, so only after calling them it became clear they actually do have a restaurant. Easy to change i think. Restaurant had a nice buffet. Coffee, tea is free during the day in a cosy lounge. Very nice place to stay.
