This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. We started off good by having a friendly receptionist and getting checked in. However, when I walked into ”my” room I quickly realized it was not mine and instead another persons. My toddler ran into the room before I could grab him only to find someone smoking out of a bong on the bed and a completely nude person on the toilet.... I quickly went to the office and complained and they tried to say it was the fault of a new employee, which was a lie. Without even looking up my name or a new room they knew what room I was supposed to be in. I was not given compensation and felt violated. The room was extremely HOT and air conditioning barely worked, if at all. Mold was in the shower and overall was disgusting.
Best Western Antelope Inn Suites

We have spent years staying at the Best Western in Red Bluff on our way South and North to visit family in California. The hotel is clean and updated, the staff are so friendly and helpful that you feel as if you've gone back in time, and the pool is simply charming. Where else can you enjoy a clean saline pool that features both a beautiful coy pond and a large bird sanctuary full of finch, parrot, parakeet, and more who are so accustomed to people that they approach you to say hi and chirp wonderful bird song to enjoy? Red Bluff is also a charming little town to explore in your free time. The Best Western at Red Bluff will be our constant stay for years to come!

Travelled with Parents and kids. Rooms are decent but there was strange odor in rooms, seemed like they were not well ventilated or it was not used for long time. Location is nice , easy to find. there are few eating places nearby. Gas station is just in parking lot so any quick thing can be grabbed. Main desk crew is nice. breakfast is good selection.

This is what it is....an older budget motel which is trying to survive these days for travelers such as myself. The lady at RECEPTION was incredibly kind and helpful when I had a problem and directed me to a business in town which solved it. Room 216 had a comfortable bed but because of the age of the building the single-paned glass is useless for keeping out exterior noise. There is a large gap around the door which does not help this problem and lets the cold air in. This needs some insulation on the frame. The motel is situated perpendicular to the fairly close highway and the all-night truck traffic noise just channels down between the buildings which doesn't help a light sleeper. In addition the noisy HVAC motor sounds like its bearings are shot. The louvers are stationary rather than moveable and the air blows directly on the bed. The carpet is old and musty smelling and really should be sprayed every day at least. Many places are ripping out the old, unhealthy carpeting and putting in engineered flooring but this is a horrific cost. I wish more visitors for them but if you are a light sleeper I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Very clean, comfortable, budget friendly motel. The pool is refreshing, and the breakfast offered is great. It is very easy on and off I-5. We stay here every time we are in Red Bluff. The rooms have been recently remodeled and are modern and inviting.
Motel 6 Red Bluff, CA

Luxury hotel users or vacationers give Motel 6 a bad rap. But most locations are very clean with a bed and shower/private bath, all you need. The Red Bluff location is clean with great service and rates. No coffeemaker in rooms but free coffee at office. Plus a clean pool! It is quiet at both pool and rooms. The problem I've had with Motel 6 is the activity on weekends, but I havent been at this one on the weekend yet. Plus no extra fees or going back and forth about having a safe space for pets as well as people.
