Countryside hotel. Structure totally rebuilt in 2002. I stayed in the "Chalet", a separate fully refurbished building with excellent rooms (very large, comfy and noiseless). The only minus is the internet; wifi not working at all.
Great breakfast in the main building as well as the restaurant with typical dishes.

This is my new favourite place to stay when I am at the Red Bull Ring. Delightful service, a beautiful property with upscale fittings and furnishings. Very comfortable, extremely peaceful.

Wir haben anlässlich der DTM eine große Suite mit Terrasse im Stadl gebucht, schriftlich mit Bestätigung. Dann als ich einen Tag vorher geschrieben habe wegen der Check in Zeit, wurde mir lapidar mitgeteilt, dass ich nun eine normales Doppelzimmer im Nebengebäude habe. Warum auch immer, mir wurde erklärt, dass der Fehler bei *********** liegt, was nicht sein kann, weil wir dazwischen schon mal korrespondiert haben und wir über die Stadl Suite gesprochen haben. Das Zimmer war ok, aber nicht so schön, älter und viel kleiner. Keine Entschuldigung und kein Preisnachlass, im Gegenteil die Dame an der Rezeption hat mir bei meiner Nachfrage gesagt, dass das Zimmer gleich teuer ist wie die Suite und sie nichts nachlassen wird. Schade, denn ich habe den Gast vom Nachbarzimmer gefragt und die Zimmer sind sehr wohl billiger. Noch dazu mussten wir morgens eiskalt duschen, da wäre ein kleines Entgegenkommen nett gewesen. Arbeite selbst seit 25 Jahren in der Top 4* Hotellerie und kenne mich dahingehend bestens aus, so fühlt man sich etwas abgezockt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war aber sehr toll und lässt keine Wünsche offen, das Abendessen war sehr gut und Herr Perschler Junior ein freundlicher Gastgeber. Das Haus ist sehr schön und die Lage zum Ring perfekt.

Wir waren 7 Nächte da. Gewohnt haben wir im Stadl. Sehr geräumiges Zimmer, viel Holz, gemütlich und urig. Schöne Aussicht und ruhig. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag vielfältig und gut (reichhaltiges Buffet). Schöner Frühstücksbereich, alternativ gab es eine hübsche Terrasse. Schöne Auswahl beim Abendessen, ebenfalls in einer gemütluchen Stube oder auf einer weiteren Terrasse. Wenn man überhaupt etwas "bemängeln" möchte, so ist dies höchstens der fehlende Kühlschrank im Zimmer - im Sommer wäre es schon fein, wenn man Getränke einkühlen könnte. Und ein() Insektenvorhang/-tür wäre nicht schlecht. Es gibt zwar coole Rolläden, die aber nicht nur Fliegen/Gelsen/Bremsen draussen halten, sondern halt auch die Frischluft. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!
